I appreciate how you objectively compare and contrast the features of the boats you sell versus other boats. As the largest centurion dealer in the U.S., I can see how bias would be natural. That being said, I give you big credit for being objective. I personally own and love centurion, but I still appreciate things that other boat brands offer that are different and sometimes better than my Fi25.
This is such a fun comparison. Those that spend the most want to have the best boat. Those that want the best surf boat know what it is…and it annoys those with the ‘best boat’. But there is no loser in this comparison. They are both such amazing, but different, options
This might be a silly question. But being a family with lots of kids we love pulling a tube out every once in a while to give a group of people on the boat a chance to get in. How do these boats compare pulling tubes as to a standard out drive boat? Are there any features that make one or the other do better or worse?
I keep wanting to trade in my G25 for RI245 or 265, for performance surfing, ram fill, color options, but the helm, walkway (I still take parents out quite a bit), fit/ finish, storage and honestly dealers in my area have kept me from doing so. I feel like the Nautique dealer in my area is the absolute best and go above and beyond. Centurion feels like just another dealer.
If Nautique used the bottom hull, board racks and tower from centurion I feel it would be unbeatable. I don’t like centurion design choices on interior and exterior. I like the rear seats and storage of the Nautique. It’s so strange to me that the rear compartments open inward on the centurion, it’s so awkward.
@@davidw6828 the subfloor is comparable, but the ri245 has almost 6000 pounds of ballast, with 3000 of it subfloor I believe. The g23 only has 3k lbs of ballast, hence, why the centurion has double the avalible ballast in the lockers. Both boats are about the same size so in order to fit all that weight it has to go somewhere
another really good vid. Agree on most aspects...our G23 is a pig at low speed handling..when trying to dock the boat in the boathouse, if its windy out, the stern thruster is a must and even then it can be challenging. The rear walk through might be one of my favorite features of the G...just wish I could get the wave a bit longer:)
Both boats are crazy sickkkk! Owning a centurion is awesome!! No regrets. But when riding in buddies Nautiques they are just much better build. Overall design and quality of the whole boat is superior to the rest. Also when it comes to loading a boat on a trailer it comes down to the driver not the boat.

Thanks for your comment, and we are glad that you appreciate the video. We strive to be as accurate and as informative as possible!
If centurion could improve their interior and helm finishing by a bit they would be perfect

Very nice job. I bought a 2015 G23 new and have loved it but many of the issues you have described have occured.
Love your videos, drone shots etc. surprised how you skipped the chance to emphasize they are both Correct Craft.

They all pull tubes pretty similar!
Does only centurion feature quick launch as a feature? Makes turning much easier.

Dealer is honestly everything

Is centurion sub floor ballast or do they have bags in the compartments? That’s such a deal breaker
Sub floor and bags.
@@chuckgym dang that’s brutal. They need to go all subfloor and they are golden
Centurion has Ramfill sub floor ballast that fills on the fly in under 90 seconds, and is accompanied by extra bags in compartments.
@@BoardCo thank you! As soon as they go sub floor that will probably be the boat I got with next

Always compromises to be had. Hope you enjoy the Nautique but also glad you appreciated the video!
Next year trading in my 19 Supra SL550 for a Ri245😅
Can't wait to see it!

Bro the paragon is so much better
Nautique owners have to claim their boats are “nicer/better” because they spent so much more for them!
