Alternate Martha is also only doing what she thinks is right. She still is similar to Jonas' Martha. You can see it in the less experience version of her, that travels with Jonas. She clearly grew up in a similar way as Jonas' Martha, since he mentioned her having the same experiences as his Martha.

Originally found your LotR reaction (looking forward to those as well) and you linked your Dark reaction in the first one.
I've been trying to watch a few reactions to Dark before but these guys either didn't get the complex plot and didn't really try to get it or they predicted everything and were overly critical.
Yours is the PERFECT reaction. You really get the plot, are involved in the characters and you're still surprised and shocked by the plot twists. Your mixture of talking/reacting and still not interupting important scenes is so fun to watch. And I love your theories.
And above all : you learning german and repeating things is so cool to see.

I'm watching the third season and your reaction right after an episode. It's super interesting to compare your opinions and mine. But we definitely agree on one thing: DARK is a masterpiece!
And I'm very proud that something like that comes from Germany. I've never seen a series that captivated me more. Closely followed by GRIMM!

I dont get how people call the show "slow". I have to process information its giving me on high speed. Its the style, its building up to things, a lot of dialog, its not an action spectacle.

what youve seen here is how diff. martha gives older jonas the materia to create the portal in that time. this is no spoiler, but you asked during the viewing: "whats the point of her being able to go back". yes she lied, but she didnt do them dirty, she helped them.

If the tunnels connect past present future, why does the one in Evas world go to post apocalypse but the one in Adams doesn’t?
It’s really bugging me because Jonas didn’t use a time ball to take Marta to meet her older self, they went through the door right?

Why are you saying Peter cheats on Charlotte in both worlds? They never showed him cheating in the alternative World. And since in Jonas's world Charlotte new already since the beginning of season 1, that Peter betrayed her, she probably would know it also already in the alternative world. But they never speak about it. I think it's more like with Elisabeth and Franziska. In one world Elisabeth is mute, Franziska in the other. And in one world Peter is the one, who cheats and in the other world it's Charlotte.

If you finished the series, you should know better. Peter and Benni are always together. In Adam's world, in Eve's world and in the original. In Eve's and the original world you only see them side by side, but it's obviously.

I guess everbody has a love hate relationship with Ulrich. 🤷🏻♀️ Tbh i find alternative world Martha more fun to watch than the original one but i don't like how she lies and betrays people most of the time.
