Cheese has lots of hidden (and not so hidden) messages throughout:
- the songs they’re referring to are songs that were criticized for being just noise music and having nonsense lyrics
- the lyrics about folding your fingers: If you do as the lyrics say you get a thumbs up, but if you listen to the ad-libs you get the middle finger
- all the cheese that Felix mentioned is suitable for people with lactose-intolerance, so everyone (hater) is included
- the sticky notes say things that being said about them and the notes are ripped confetti at the end
- Chan boxing against the haters
- Innie being a maniac and using his smile to show how he is going insane
Also one of my favorite detail is Minho with Felix’s cookie stuck to his forehead, I just find it hilarious😂

The part in Cheese where I.N goes "Now One, Two, Three, CHEESE!" wasn't actually planned at first. I.N did it while recording and 3racha thought it's just perfect and made I.N do that in the actual song. Now it's the most iconic part and it's always I.N who introduces this song live at concerts, it totally became his song
So excited we are in No Easy era now. It's hands down the best album of them all. In each album there is some weaker song that I don't like as much, but there is NONE in No Easy, this album is a masterpiece ❤️

Any came from one time Bang Chan was asking Felix what he wanted to eat, and Felix replied “any”, but because it sounded like “ani”, which means no in Korean, chan was confused bc he thought Felix was saying no instead of any. After realizing chan being chan, decided to make a song out of that wordplay. That was basically the wordplay throughout the entire song, as u can tell from the lyrics. 😂

"All in" is an interesting song for me. This is one of the few songs that they did not fully write. JYP actually made the base of the song and showed it to them. He said he was so scared they wouldn't like it and it was the only time he has ever offered a song (unless I have accidently forgetten any other time). SKZ got ahold of it and changed it up and rewrote things, but JYP is listed first in the writing credits. It has just always been something that I remembered because of how proud JYP looked and sounded about them ACTUALLY accepting anything from him. It was honestly refreshing to see a "more human" side of him instead of just "the company" side.
Also... a funny Minsung moment happened about this song. Lee Know was "interviewing" Han and Lee Know asked Han what was something he was "all in" lately.... And Han's response was... "YOU"!😂🤣😂
That's an interesting fact. I'm glad the song got to see the light of day after SKZ got ahold of it because it's so fun 😆!

I won't go into detail about Cheese because I see the other comments. But I just wanted to mention that Jeongin being tied up has a symbolism. It's the same way antis react as if someone is forcing them to listen to skz music but they're actually secretly enjoying it the same way Jeongin is smiling even though he's tied up. The MV making film for Cheese was so cute if you have time to watch

If you go with Han's adlibs in the background at 32:45 it forms the middle finger. Cheese is a song that's for the haters which is them flipping them off. They even make references to God's Menu (the dududu and the pigeon and magpie) and Side Effects (them mentioning headaches), because so many people made fun of those songs. Also a lot of their haters claim that all they make is noise music. While the "cawing of a crow" line is in reference to Awkward Silence.
they actually filmed 'Any' on Changbin's birthday. It's one of those songs that I put on infinite loop just to get stuff done around my house because it's so catchy and such a good dance vibe to it. And of course it's definitely an earworm.
All in is such a fun one and there's soooo much in the video to catch it all the first time through.
And Cheese, is such a good clap back to all the haters. It's super catchy too and definitely a good one to have on repeat.
Ohhh! We're entering the NOEASY era? Will you go back to the Go Live and In Life songs in the future too? Those albums were top-tier. These made me see SKZ being able to grow and showed what their music will be: a genre. SKZ genre. That's what they always aspire to have and i think i can indeed what they mean because they highlighted this sound more than ever from District 9 to Go Live era.

And yeah Cheese was a huge slap back to haters. They thoroughly described step by step a middle finger (flip off) in the song. The Noeasy Album was all about Skz embracing their noisy sides. They even named this album based off how haters called them: no easy - Noeasy - noisy.
With how cheese is full of witty and smart wordplays, haters totally missed the meaning of the song and tried to make fun of it.
And the "you find du du du du funny you find headache funny" is related to how much hate they was thrown at when they released side effects or god's menu

Back when I was just starting to discover Skz All In and Cheese were two of my absolute favorite songs I discovered from them and still to this day I can't stop bopping whenever I listen to them. and since cheese is one of my favs, i'm going to ramble a bit about the meaning i took from it, if you'll have me
im ripping most of this from my tumblr but the meaning i got from cheese is that it's a clapback to haters in a total different way as, let's say, for example, thunderous. the overall message and how they treat the haters are completely different; on cheese we get almost direct quotes of hateful messages (mocking of god's menu, side effects, awkward silence, etc), things meant to hurt or bring them down (references to the mocking of how they look & dress, being the laughtstock for ppl, etc), but the tone in which they're presented is completely flippant. it's almost brought up in a mocking way on its own, in a way meant to be looked down upon; there's nothing worse than making somebody feel stupid for their opinions. "oh you think our lyrics are funny? oh, ok then." it's presented in a dismissing way, like the thought that the haters don't get them not only is obviously in the wrong but also is kinda funny to them. the song touches a lot on the irony that is people being so up in their business when they supposedly don't take them seriously, and it's done in a cheeky way, not in a 'we're better than you' but in a "we know you're hearing this and that's just funny to us." type of way. to me this song is the embodiment of 'take a picture it will last longer'. haters in this are meant to be an inside joke, like their words can't touch them because they sound so funny in their obsession.
and it works, for me at least, because they don't take anything seriously in the song/mv, not even themselves. they're just goofying off and doing what they always do, making good music and having fun with it, adding puns and little silly bits that shouldn't work but work bc they're just that good at what they do, yknow what i mean? as aggressive as the song sounds, I don't see it as something negative, more fierce if anything. i dunno, i just really love cheese (which is funny to say bc i don't actually like cheese xD)

I saw lots of comments about Cheese, so I'll add some fun facts/things that I think about for All In. Some from other Stays that pointed it out and some I've noticed (probably pointed out in the past, but I don't remember reading it!). The All In logo at the end - yes, it's a crown, it's also the same crown/logo they used for Kingdom: Legendary War - but for Kingdom it didn't say All In at the time, it was modified a bit to make it into All In. All the "up slants" in the logo = 8 = 8 members. In the Kingdom logo, also 8 upslants - also the kingdom logo is SKZ on it's side the line on the bottom is the side of the K and S and Z are basically mirrors of each other, flipped on the side. The logo is what I noticed at least - probably because I've been binge watching Kingdom and have watched it several times and watching other reactors watching it several times lol
In the MV for All In, there are two sets of Stray Kids - the robbers and the cops. As you said about the podium, a call back to Miroh - but one of the extras in Miroh, is also in this - he's been in several of their MVs. He's one of the guys on the podium in Miroh, and in this, he's the guy who says the last "what?!" - he was throughout this MV, but that's the easiest one to explain which extra he was.
I also see a correlation between All In and Case 143 - just with one group being the cops and the other lost in love. They do look so good in uniforms, don't they? :) One could also say....they are all in for love? ;D lol

cheese is a diss song for the haters and they're referencing the hate comments they got in it, let me explain some of it:
- when it says what's so funny about du du du, they're referring to god's menu because when the god's menu got popular the people were making fun of the du du du part.
- when it says what's so funny about a headache they're referring to side effects, cuz you know the chorus literally says my head hurts lol, and side effects started the skz hate train back in 2019, people started calling their music noisy since then.
- the part where it says what's so funny about crows and magpies is also a gods menu reference, cuz just like the du du du part that part was also the most maken fun off.
- and the part where it says to fold your fingers is actually the funniest cuz when they count the fingers one by one and it gets to the middle finger you can hear han's adlib saying not that one so they're literally telling people to go fuck themselves lmao.

as mentioned in other comments, Cheese is almost like a dis track to all the haters. Du du du refers to gods menu, my head huts to side effects, crows and magpies to gods menu again and crows cawing to awkward silence. If ya like this one i would def recommend listening to Domino as it throws a few punches at haters as well not to mention the choreography is amazing so id recommend watching the dance practice if you can!

So the members being double is in almost all of their japanese title tracks MVs, beside Scars. And even in some of their koreans MVs there are more of them ! Again part of the storyline. It's a metaphor, allegating that even haters 'can eat' (hear/enjoy) their music and discography. Even if it makes them bitter and don't admit it, that's why in the pre-chorus they say that there's nothing wrong in enjoying, that you should savor it, lick it; making a joke that antis criticize them and throw hate at them publicly but listen and enjoy their music behind the scenes.
