The US Open is the final Grand Slam of the year and takes place at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center. The 2021 US Open saw Russia's Daniil Medvedev and Great Britain's Emma Raducanu claim the men's and women's singles titles. It was both players' first major title, with 18-year-old Raducanu becoming the first-ever qualifier to achieve the feat. The 2022 US Open main draw is scheduled to go ahead between August 30 - September 11.

13:10 As Emma returned the ball and it was in, in spite of the erroneous call that Burel's previous shot was out, the umpire should not have attributed the point to Burel. It should have been re-played. Very poor umpiring indeed. That's a professional fault.

Emma lost but she is much better now. But look at Clara Burel, it seems like she was patched together by tapes. It is not easy to be a professional athlete. I am wondering if retired tennis players such as Borg, Lendl, Jimmy Connors, and ....... have lingering injuries. I know most football players do or even baseball players.
