@@ThePoiMechanic Hi :) Can you explain how to GET OUT of air wraps? I seem to get into them ok but then I tangle getting out. Am I supposed to be changing plains or just pulling apart as I exit?
Great vid. Been having trouble with this one for an embarrassingly long time! So when you want to exit, do you lift up on the hand that began underneath of the tether tangle? My poi seem to double air wrap when I accidentally get it right..lol
Yes I do . I usually just raise up on the hand that was on the bottom but if you have one hand going up and one hand going down it helps more. I can single or double rap depending on how long I leave my hands parallel before continuing on the hand path. I'll be putting out a orbital video soon which goes over this a bit better. Hopefully this week or next.
The Poi Mechanic Thanks for the swift reply. You wouldn't happen to know if swivels hinder the ability to do air wraps? My swivels exist just below the handle, and therefore between the handle and where I cross the tether. And I subbed and look forward to checking out that video to hopefully elucidate the wacky world of tangle tricks!
The tip about pulling one hand up and one down was gold for me! Thanks man.
Thank you!! You're the first person to explain that the lengths must meet at the same point.
Glad I could help!

Great video best one I’ve watched for learning air wraps cheers
Glad I could help!
This also the only video I’ve watched which has taught me air wraps, thank you dude
Angled for air wraps, perpendicular for orbitals
Great video, really helpful thanks.

It doesn't effect my air wraps at all. It can effect my butterfloop tangles if I'm too far back though.
The Poi Mechanic interesting. Thanks for elaborating. Just making sure I'm not torturing myself for no reason! I'll keep at it!
