I worship her work, it's fresh, thoughtful and dynamic. Today when fashion from established luxury brands seems repetitive, she is one of the few new age designers changing the landscape and dialogue of fashion. Love love love!
All nice and lovely, but one puny half-moon printed stretch-jersey top from Marine Serre costs 210 euros. It isn’t bad, design wise, but it is made out of synthetic fibers, namely 72% polyamide, 28% elastane. Does this sound like a cheap or a reasonably priced top? The people who buy and throw away the most amounts of clothing are the rich, who are also Marine Serre’s clients.
Love the upcycling aspects of the brand and their designs. However, I feel that charging that much for unused, abandoned ugly clothes with added moon elastane panels kind of defeats the purpose as what you should be trying to do is encourage people to get upcycled stuff instead of shunning them away with the high prices.
you have to factor what it costs to make these items. They're not Chinese made products after they've touch her hands/company. It's not that expensive.
Its looks like nowadays that substainability shows to be a great designer… its Not ! A Great designer is how ur creations are . There is too much inportance given for only what materiel u use . Is a part of it .
So charming, nice and elegant. Love her so much. And she established a unique brand.
We love Marine, one of the most exciting and sustainable new French designers!
Absolutely love her and her brand that she's created. Really refreshing and showing how beautiful sustainability can be. Amazing.
