I’ve tried this but tweaked it a little: I added blue raspberry flavoring to the sugar, and for the topping I crushed up warheads. If you love sour , I would suggest using them instead of jolly ranchers. Or toxic waste is a good alternative.
Sounds yummy!
That’s creative asffff thank you !
so I have a question because I want to make these eventually is it just the solution to make it is it just sugar and the water combined or is there another ingredient that I need to make this?????
You made my mouth watering
@@joypeterson672 and corn syrup
10/10 gotta love a video that has nice work + no talking lol straight to the point
Jamesia Sings thank you!
Hl
Yes me too!!!

I think I shall help me get a storefront first.
Thank you for the idea inspiration!! Best of luck !
I can’t wait to try to make!!!
Is the recipe 2 cups sugar, 1/3 cup of light corn syrup & 1/4 water? Heat to 295°F? You're great, btw!
Thank you for teaching me something new! I make cooking videos too! It’s a pleasure to learn from other talented creators like you! I hope we can learn more from each other!Perfect! I’m trying to learn how to Make some new candies to make for Easter this year. I’m going to try this.
So Pretty! Gonna try this!
Crazy question!! Do the kind of pot you use matter?? I've done this exact measurement using a candy thermometer and my mixture keeps coming out real chewy instead of crunchy??🤦♀️🤷♀️
The best one of all.
I'm so happy for this video. Go head Arielle!
Is the food coloring just for color?
Do you have to use the white food coloring
Oh wow😍 didnt know this was possible
My jolly ranchers keep sticking together
how do you put them up freezer? how long to let sit and how to store??
Looks amazing
I’m so confused. Grapes are already so sweet. But I can’t stop watching
Why it's called CRACK 🤣😭
Is that a water base or gel food coloring?
Am I supposed to wait till it cool down right off the stove? My color still look translucent
After it’s done boiled to 300 do you instantly dip the grapes
Can I reuse the sugar that I had left by reheating it
What kind of grapes do you use ? And where do you get the colors
Loveee this.. how can i keep my candy from being sticky?? When I touched my grapes, it was very sticky
Try cooling them in the refrigerator first.
My favorite and such inspiration to try these ...🥰
Definitely going to be my valentines gift
cant wait to make mines next week good tips
Her other video she referred to didn’t even help, all it said was abt the temperature the only difference in the videos lol. Good content on the candy making !
Can you use warheads for this or no because of crystallization?
Yes
Looks interesting. Tangy, sweet, yum
Looks so simple and beautiful
Will these last at a pop up at a pop up shop for 5 hours
How long did you freeze it
Are the grapes frozen ? How long can they be refrigerated before serving
it doesn’t matter, the grapes are not frozen tho, prefer to rinse & dry with napkin before dipping ❤️ i make them for a living
@@CaylinCiar do you have videos?
@@CaylinCiar do you have any tips or a certain recipe that you use? Any videos?
@@jasmonjames8331 no, but i’ll surely start
Great question
How long before it starts to melt?
was they crunchy when they dried?
Did you dip cold grapes or room temperature
Room Temperature :)
Which food coloring u use?
What is the white food color for?
Awesome! Do you store these in the fridge after, or are they ok sitting out?
when i put mine in the fridge they melt so i would suggest you leave them out
What is the name & brand of the flavoring you used ?
does it matter what food coloring u add after the white ?
Nope, you can use any color you want :)
@@ariesconfectionaries ok thanks😘
Did u freeze grapes prior to dipping?
No, these are room temperature grapes :)
will royal icing work instead of white food coloring ?
No, it will not
I tried this recipe and mine turned out very gooie, what did i do wrong ?
If the sugar isn't cooked long enough, it will not get crunchy. Also, if these sit for more than a day, the moisture from the grape will give you a chewy candy as well! Sometimes, I'll let the sugar mixture cook until a little brown and then quickly remove it from the heat
hey whats adding white stuff for n what is it
is there any way to make these without corn syrup?
Yes omit the corn syrup. Make sure your sugar doesn’t crystallize though because the corn syrup prevents this more easily
Hi, I was wondering if you could help me out! My jolly ranchers started getting sticky, and when i blend them, they get stuck together, is there something I can do to fix this problem?
Yes I have that problem too sometimes. If it’s humid or has rained outside, it will affect the candies. Unfortunately I don’t have a solution for sticky jolly ranchers but to only make the candies on a dry day
@@ariesconfectionaries thank you so much!❤️
@@marlenemalacara6099 I live in hawaii so it’s very hot, the jolly ranchers don’t stick to each other if you add sugar into the blender
@@ailanagrijalva9162 aw thank you so much for helping me out!
@@marlenemalacara6099 of course ♥️
my cornsyrup never comes out this runny and i use the exact measurements :(
Nevermind I was using sugar substitute like stevia. It still worked it just didn’t make as much and the crunch was softer which o didn’t mind at all. But then I used actual sugar and it came out just like this! Gotta be quick tho cuz that candy hardens up quickly!
Do you put ack in the fridge after the process is done to harden
AnnSheee It hardens up at room temperature! The key is to cooking the sugar at the right temperature :)
I’ve tried this several times and they always turn out beautifully. My problem is after not even two hours they MELT and look horrible. I store them in an air tight container….I have tried in the fridge and on the counter. Same RESULT 😔 How do I get them to stay hard and not melt?? Please help.
i would try freezing them.. don’t take my word and definitely ask more people but from what i’ve seen people say,, i would try that!
The humidity will get them every time! I won’t make these if it’s raining or will rain bc the sugar always melts. I’ve never frozen them but I’d assume once they defrost, you’d have the same issue. Try storing them in a ziploc baggie as soon as they harden and then store in the container.
Why you didn’t put a lot of candy on there?
Do u have to use corn syrup
You don’t have to but it prevents your sugar from crystallizing or getting lumpy. The corn syrup gives it an extra shine but if you don’t have it on hand then you can still achieve this!
YUMMY 🤤🤤🤤🤤
What are the tools called that is used to crush the jolly ranchers
Mortar and pestle
Why does mine fall out when they try to dry up
How can i get them not to melt after 3-4 hours ?
Exactly
how long to keep on the stove & what to keep it on high or low ?
Medium high heat until the bubbles have become think when boiling if you don’t have a thermometer. Or when you carefully place the hot liquid in ice water and it hardens
I can’t never seem to get the recipe to turn out correctly, I always make the candy too hard 🤦🏽♀️. Any pointers any could give me ?
You use the thermometer?
Marshaa smith yes I do and it never seems to turn out right
Pretty Gyal Hm Mines Came Out Good For Me . What About Your Measurement That’s Really Important As Well . You Want the candy to be thin so it apply even
Use 411 method 4 cups of sugar 1 cup of corn syrup 1 cup water
Add your color in the beginning cook too 300 put wooden spoons over mix while it’s boiling so it doesn’t run over.
While cooking blend jolly ranchers but add jello powder to help it not stick so much. You can reheat on the same temp take it off when you see small bubbles
What can I do to keep it from hardening while dipping
if it starts to thicken or Harden, place it back on the heat and gently stir until melted again :)
All this time I thought you melted the jolly ranchers and dipped the fruit into that. 🤦🏽♀️
my candy clumped when i used this .. what happened ?
I don’t have corn syrup
Girl if uon dip & roll the whole grapes in the candy lol
Como el caramelo se pega a la fruta y no se derrite ni se pega a las demás frutas
New video!
This is low key spongebob music
Someone tell me why my candy is chewy and not hard please 😭😭
What if my cracked grapes melted ?
I have this same question
All the candy melted and broke off by the next morning 🤷🏻♀️
Where your grapes frozen
Jamaya Carpenter Room temperature :)
We’re to find white food coloring
Grocery store
I found mine at Michael’s! 😃
I got mines from hobby lobby
