I still wonder why no one actually discover Raftel except Roger. It's definitely not an ordinary island. It's definitely not a land you can reach by boat or neither an island in the sky or underwater since OP characters can reach those.

Maybe u need something to unlock it, like vegapunk was trying to recreate the flame that was used like a infinite energy. Maybe it has some old tech like this right? I mean, that can only be activated after the four roads

Grand Line are big magnetic fields that normal compass not working, without those you gonna get lost in the sea forever, only log pose can get you into the island that recorded on that log pose.
from this we can see that Raftel (Laugh Tale) are hidden on the vast sea and among the islands around it, and since there's no log pose that help people to reach Raftel, you need poneglyph to pinpoint its location (tho there was log pose of Raftel, but Luffy destroy it on the movie, and from that log pose Raftel real name got revealed)
Roger and the crew arrived with their own ship, so its not location where can't be reach with ship.
