- Buying a tent nowadays can feel impossible especially if you’re unfamiliar with all the Termanology and you don’t even know where to start. Hopefully this video will help and it’s definitely stuff I wish I knew! Let me know if I missed any points!
Also, I’m currently backpack camping around Norway and I will post the first full length video when I’m home so make sure your subscribing!

My Fjallraven abisko lite 1 has looked after me in bad conditions in winter. But I'm now going for the tried and tested over the years the USA Kuiu Storm Star 2p, quite simply for winter mountain conditions it is bombproof! I never purchase the latest tents, I don't trust adverts or indeed new product tents that have not proven themselves over the years in storm conditions. Most youtubers are quite dishonest with their reviews on new tents, because they have partnered with the maker or that tent. My advice don't buy the latest, buy the tried and tested tents that have proven themselves over the years! Can't go wrong that way! Liked and Subscribed
Real world my boy.
Nice vid. We need a list of camping and trekking prerequisites.
copy that! ill get on it!
Keep content coming bro, solid work 👊🏼
Thanks mate! Currently in Norway and loads of videos coming out of this trip!
That Vern 1 is so nice! I got the Fjallraven Abisko Lite 1, similar price but smaller.
also a great tent!
Love my vern 1 - not really been tested in harsher conditions but 1st impressions very good.
Maybe you could have added a section about trekking pole vs poles .
ive just got a pole tent so i will do!
Do a vid when your on a summit of you setting up your tent!
will do!
Looks a solid tent. Where did you get it for 400? Is it the 2024 version? 👍✌️
facebook market place!
If you owned my DIY 4.7 ounce Dyneema floorless tent, 4.4 ft X 9.15 ft X 3.5 ft high, waterproof entry/exit zipper, waterproof zippered vent w/mosquito netted hood, loop at the peak for hanging from above or pole support and all glue construction, you would be holding it in the whole palm of your hands instead of the long cylindrical blobs you're showing.
haha interesting maybe something i'd have to look at!
Congratulations on the most uniformed, idiotic, naive comment !
Is Msr elixir 1 good?
i have the 2 and its been a brilliant tent, the 1 would be quite small but probs great for 1 person
@@Joexplorez alright thanks
the zips leak on them thats what you need to watch out for with that tent
Will keep an eye on it! Been okay in abit of rain so far 🤝
@@Joexplorez go over your zips with plenty of sealant because it would be a downer if it was a leak point with🤨them because the money they cost but i hope its ok for you mate 👍
