It looks like seals you bought were for a thicker door. That’s why it’s bulging at the ends.

The doors were measured according to instructions. Listen to the update for how the problem was resolved.

Humm - couldn't see bottom seal very well, but looked like it is bulging to the outside. The black seals tend to dry out and get a "memory" in the box. Could remove it rubb in rubber (seal) conditioner and reinstall with the original outside edge facing in so any bulging would face inside, away from outside edge seals.

The fraction drags the seal to fill the gap on one side. Driving a screw to the bottom on that side to hold the seal in place will resolve the problem.

The thickness of the door is narrower than the excluder.

I put a garage door threshold down to close the gap

I had the same problem. Get the smaller door seal and install a door threshold to fill the gap. Your door seal seems like too big , it push the outer seal and leave a gap. What do you think?

Your concrete might not be flat under the door

The bottom of the Xcluder should be flush with the bottom edge of the garage door. Don't install the Xcluder if it sticks out in front of the garage door - return it and get a smaller one.

When you say “Professional”, do you mean those guys that hang around Home Depot that you pick up in the back of a van? Ain’t no way!

The company installs garage doors. This was their first use of xcluder. If you view the entire video you will see the method to correct the problem which I mention.

well he was a professional garage door specialist. But to be fair we don't have a lot of options in my area of Montana.

I just watched the X2 installation video from Xcluder right before watching this. It says that if your doors are not standard size, they say to buy one size larger than you need and cut to your size. It also said that if the Xcluder interferes with the existing garage door in any way, you’re supposed to cut the X2 to fit around your door instead of cutting your door. The “complete solution” that you are seeking is to cut down the excess material of the X2 to get it to fit correctly.
This looks entirely the fault of your installer and not the product. He didn’t cut the X2 correctly. Call him back to fix it. :)
