    The cuddling part seems very real, I might not be the most observant person but the amount of times I saw people getting up was insane, it looked like there was something deeply wrong with the playing area ://

      Yes absolutely 😂 I truly hope the playing conditions will be better for chessplayers in the coming years.

    Thank you very much for sharing the game. Your opponent played really well. Sad to hear the playing conditions. Not great. Hard to play with 100% ability when you are disturbed. Good luck for the remaining rounds.

    Against the King's Indian I like Smyslov's system 1. Nf3, Nf6 2. g3, g6 3. b4. It looks weird but Smyslov was a super solid player and this takes Black out of book right away. I've also played your resulting position with the hanging pawns (but with my Knight on c3 instead of d2) that I have gotten from Black transposing to the Queen's Indian Defense. Good dynamic opportunities for White especially with the Knight on c3, Rooks on c1, d1, Queen on e2 etc.

      Smyslovs System is interesting too! Haven't played it yet but might give it a shot at some point!
      The knight would have probably been better on c3 in that position, you're right

    the conditions sound bad, I played at the Amsterdam open and it was actually very nice

      @@febloh would have been so cool, you'd have had a big chance to win as well 😅 maybe next year?

    Well done for escaping a tricky position and achieving a draw. The playing conditions sounded really bad, like my daily travel on the London Underground where smelly people are coughing and sneezing all over the place.

      That's a good comparison 😂 Unfortunately that's the way it is..

    if i played like you play on a bad day i'd be happy with my chess! sorry to hear about the playing conditions, have you considered wearing a mask while at the playing hall? i think you would be safer if you did 😊

    • @febloh
      @febloh  Месяц назад +1

      Haha thanks! I did think about it but it also makes concentrating much harder due to less oxygen...

    It's a shame about the poor organization with regards to the playing hall. It's not conducive to high level chess. I hope you will be feeling better for the next round and play well!

    Hallo Felix. Danke für die interessante Partieanalyse - ich wünsche Dir weiterhin viel Erfolg!! Bezüglich den Wettkampfbedingungen würde ich mich beschweren. Ich habe Bilder in der Live Übertragung gesehen im Turniersaal - du hast kaum Bewegungsfreiheit beim Sitzen und dies ist nicht sehr vorteilhaft. Ich hoffe dies verbessert sich für Dich und für alle anderen Spieler! Gruss aus der Schweiz, Stefan

      Danke Stefan!! Ich hab auch schon überlegt mich zu beschweren aber sehe leider nicht was es bringen soll... Vielleicht mach ich mal win Video wo ich die oft mangelnden Spielkonditionen bei Schachturnieren anspreche. Das ganze braucht einfach mehr Aufmerksamkeit...
