This is a very basic way of looking at things, where so many life uncertainities are not factored in, sure power of compounding is great, but people need to provision for things like
1. Short small terms expenses like trips, vacations.
2. Medium term large expenses like marriage.
3. Life insurance.
4. Medical cover insurance.
5. Home loan provisions.
So maintaining separate accounts for each saving is important, no one can guarantee a blip free life, so when the bumps come one is not left with all eggs in one basket. Time is the key, sooner one starts, the better it gets.

Watching this video is full waste of time... Reason explained:
1. He is assuming poor person having income of 25k per month
2. He is making video on assumption that we can easily get 15-18% p.a interest with safe investment
3. calculation error- 5000pm for 40years =24lakhs
4. In whole video he will not tell about source of safe investment which will yield 12%p.a
5.Whole video is based on assumption and tax & inflation is fully ignored
5000*12*40=2400000 is right amount not error calculation
He explained how does works compound enterest
