I thought they very intentionally showed her getting stabbed in the stomach which seems like blood loss would be the most dangerous thing, which can be solved with care.
the "i confess" scene had me fucking sobbing at 3am when it came out. sarah fier and hannah miller deserved better. the way how the moss hannah put on sarah's grave kept growing after over 300 years. sam and deena are our finale girls who are lesbians

My favourite part about rewatching is realizing that the Goode’s curse only affects shadyside’s nice people, like we see tommy was well loved and the ‘golden boy’ of shady side, Ruby lane was described as a sweet girl and she was at a party when she was cursed so she had friends, Cyrus Miller was the pastor and clearly the heart of the community who the village children loved, SO that being said, it makes the deaths that much sadder when the people being killed are getting killed by someone they most likely trusted and traits shadysides reputation even more if the ‘nice ones’ are the ones going crazy

I maintain that part of what makes 1666 so good is the context of the previous two. It’s an example of a well built trilogy that then sticks the landing. I love it so much

this film BROKE my heart. seeing sarah get hung and hannah being left on her own was so sad, their love was new and blossoming and yet it was so strong- and the fact it was broken by some angry selfish man who blamed sarah for something she didnt do angers me so much. Its also sad when you realize the parralels in the other films. The red moss that is everywhere in the other two films is from the moss crown that hannah put in sarahs grave. Another one is sarah saying to hannah 'we shall kiss in broad daylight' and they never did :( but sam and deena then re-lived that promise in the exact same place at the end of the series. Im so happy that sam and deena got their happy ending but sarahs death took me so many days to get over lol
It's sad too how Sarah Fier wasn't only framed for a crime she didn't do but she was also seen as the bad guy for centuries and was blamed for the bad luck of shadyside (I'm so obsessed with ur reaction vids btw ✨❤️)

I think one really interesting thing they did in the movies is the change from the books. In the fear street prequel series it's REALLY the fier family that accuses the mother and daughter of the goode family for witchcraft and kills them. Funny enough the father in the goode family was actually a witch and so he curses the fier family. shadyside and fear street are rightfully cursed in the books because it really was the fier family's fault. So the twist was easy for me to guess too because i figured they switched the villains lol
I swear this is hands down the best reaction I've watched for the whole trilogy. I would kill to see you do more horror. "Cabin in the Woods" is always a fun rollercoaster ❤

Everyone for the first two movies: "Oh man, Sarah Fier must have been one cold, heartless bitch to be doing this to Shadyside for three hundred years." Everyone one hour into this movie: "...I WAS AN IGNORANT WHORE AND I AM SORRY." Seriously, though, how PERFECT were these movies?! Started strong, ended strong, you actually cared for these characters with actual personalities, you got a diverse cast, and they kept us in the DARK until the third part. And what was all fun and games and bloody 80s cheese ends with one of the most heart-wrenching scenes I've seen in horror when Sara Fier sacrifices herself and curses her murderer with her final breath! The writing, the foreshadowing, the allegory of wealth and generational power... I am in love with these movies and want MORE.

fear street: 1666 was my favorite in the trilogy too. the way the story ties together, the parallels between all three movies. fuck the goode's and their selfish asses. leigh janiak said she had plans for that ending credits scene so possibility of another movie. leigh really outdid herself

I think one really interesting thing they did in the movies is the change from the books. In the fear street prequel series it's REALLY the fier family that accuses the mother and daughter of the goode family for witchcraft and kills them. Funny enough the father in the goode family was actually a witch and so he curses the fier family. shadyside and fear street are rightfully cursed in the books because it really was the fier family's fault. So the twist was easy for me to guess too because i figured they switched the villains lol

I work for Love-a-Bull (pittie rescue in Austin), and 100% agree that animal's getting hurt or killed in movies (and real life) is too much. Some of the puppers we bring in, I can hear you saying, "this is too much. It's too much," in my head.

It's also so fulfilling when we rescue an abused pittie who comes out of their shell (which often takes 3 - 8+ months) and then finds the perfect home. I still get some serious anger about how awful humans can be. I truly believe we don't deserve dogs. They are so loving and forgiving. Sorry to go on, this is just something very important to me and close to my heart. Thank YOU for always making me smile and bringing me joy and laughs.

I really enjoyed this trilogy and your reactions to it. You make my queer heart very happy. The entire cast was perfect, and I loved their accents. The woman who created the series, says she has ideas for more already. So there’s that.

aww i'm a huge horror fan and was hoping and am so happy to see you enjoyed the trilogy :) the movies definitely build one on another and the experience gets better as you progress deeper into the story. the actual story of 1666 made me super sad too just thinking about how fucked up it was and how much that has happened in the past and present. also your editing remains *chef's kiss*

Seriously, though, how PERFECT were these movies?! Started strong, ended strong, you actually cared for these characters with actual personalities, you got a diverse cast, and they kept us in the DARK until the third part. And what was all fun and games and bloody 80s cheese ends with one of the most heart-wrenching scenes I've seen in horror when Sara Fier sacrifices herself and curses her murderer with her final breath! The writing, the foreshadowing, the allegory of wealth and generational power... I am in love with these movies and want MORE.

edit: also if you look closely, nick has a limp from in 1978 when tommy hit him in the leg. the reason nick good doesnt die is because they killers can only go after shadysiders, he is sunnyvaller or whatver, he cant die from the killers, so he is ammuned to death. so instead he gets a limp!
fear street: 1666 was my favorite in the trilogy too. the way the story ties together, the parallels between all three movies. fuck the goode's and their selfish asses. leigh janiak said she had plans for that ending credits scene so possibility of another movie. leigh really outdid herself
