A pesar de su gran éxito en su país, no tuvo apenas reconocimiento en USA, donde a primeros de los 60 se editaron dos LP´s en ABC Paramount, Ciff sings y Listen to Cliff. Ambos pasaron desapercibidos, era británico. Hasta 1963 su única entrada en listas americanas fué Living doll, nº 30. It's a shame because Cliff sings better than many americans singers. I think , the americans peoples are to nationalists and not accept singers from others country.
