Walker is a great character. Especially if one wants to learn what kind of man to avoid. That`s probably why his name is "Walker" because he walked away from everything in his life. His wife and children. Pat and Barbara...
I see Walker wins another heart by the end of this episode. I never realized that short, balding, old-age pensioner blokes were so attractive to Brit females, particularly those young enough to be his daughters
Now I remember why I stopped watching this series because I got sick of the Roisin Conner character. Worse than the Pat North character. I never understood why both female characters had to be made abrasive, unpleasant, uptight, cold, bitchy! Walker isn't a pleasant character nor is he good or kind. But I much preferred him. I guess because he was shown to be trying to get on with the job, trying harder than the female leads, in spite of his chaotic personal life. If the writers wanted to maintain the Conner and Walker characters to be antagonistic towards one another for 1 or 2 seasons max, I could understand. But to maintain Conner's attitude towards Mike Walker for more than 2 seasons.....It was too too much!
Who knows. But this was mid to late 90s. I spent a bit of time being questioned in cop shops over a few yrs then. I smoked and most older cops did too, cops in early 20s were more health concious.
"They don't make them like that anymore." Lynda La P: Riveting. Addicted to the series. Grittier than Pirot & Midsomer M. Terrific script, acting, production, music & sound. SF/ CA/ USA
First they made a big mistake...no police officer would lift a glass wanting its prints by the outside you stick your fingers on the inside like a reverse tweezers... Secondly I really love this program because there is no high ranking officer you like. They are all egotistical career-driven ruthless.... Very realistic. The only likable characters are sergeants
No way! Walker, though ruff n gruff, is someone who gets results despite his chaotic personal life. The one I can't stand is Roisin Conner. Why did the writer have to make her so abrasive and bitchy? Ugh!
Only because she’s a woman. The same ambition in a man is seen as a good thing. At least she’s straight, Walker is as bent as a nine bob note. And a pretty vile human being too, a bully, a people user. Not so different from his criminal brother.

Geweldig deze serie terugzien. Zo maken ze ze niet meer
Jean, the woman who collects evidence at the crime scenes I just love.
Omg ok he's a wonderful man the way his instinct was to run to the little boy to make sure he's alright...🎉🎉🎉😊

She’s not that young 😂😂😂😂
Add ugly, rude, impatient, short-tempered and a general a..hole. What woman would want more?
Bald is sexy Film icon Yul Brynner (Westworld, The Magnificent Seven, The King & I, Genghis Khan, Anastasia). Also Vin Diesel, Bruce Willis .

Why no mention of officer Sachell... Good supporting partner
Erm...he is in this episode.
It was good to see the character David Satchel aka "Satch" again played by Dorian Lough in this episode. Always thought he was🔥
Love Satch!❤
Might have something to do with the fact that Victoria Smurfit cannot act..
Is not Brit TV great!! Love Walker v Connor adds to the show! Stay safe out there from this Covid19
Thanks! You, too!
Don't like Conner, or the fact that they have introduced sex scenes, up until this it's been a great show.
I so agree try watching heartbeat series

Exactly my sentiment. Walker does his job well even if his personal life is in shambles. Connor is ill mannered and self centered.
I can't help wondering how much the Tobacco Corporations pay
Hayman for incessant smoking

Just when I thought I couldn't hate Walker more. He is loathsome.
Connor is pretty awful too....I do not know which I dislike more....I miss DCi North.....Sach is the only decent one left now x
Too much theatrics....upto season 6 it was excellent.
Opening scene! Was this inspired by the so called "Beautiful suicide" of Evelyn Mchale?
The opening sequence is clearly a reconstruction of the famous photograph of the suicide of Evelyn McHale.
Love the series but can't stand Connor.Such a feelingless woman.Well played.
She doesnt do anything Walker wouldnt - just struts and yamners a lot less.
And she doesnt lie about hooking up.
i think it's funny that they try to convince us that walker is fuckable
The lad in the car should have cleaned his dashboard, knowing that someone was going to drop in

Mike Walker the man smokes too much! However, I'm not keen on Roisin Connor, she comes across as someone with cold heartless ambition.

Walker is a little tiny bossy guy in a uniform.
Walker is very clever,I think he is corrupt but is very careful with it
