Lovely colors from your foraging! Neither one of these grow near me, but I would love to give them a try some day. Thanks for showing us the colors that they give.

Your work is very beautiful. From your chosen background music, ASMR type feel of recording. Your natural dyes were so beautiful, I think the colors of the earthy yellow and wine are a wonderful combination. I would love to see your other combinations of natural dye.

I had no idea you could get such a vibrant pink from anything other than beets.

I love how this video moves along, without words...Procedure is good and the colors are wonderful! I also love the flute music behind it all..I've actually played the tunes while in college.

Yarn is my life, I wish I knew more of the process of how it’s made though. I could sit for days and pick your brain! Thank you for sharing!

Just discovered this on a gentle rainy day in England in August! First, what wonderfully restful music - I must follow this up! In 2016 I went to a conference in Cambridge organised by the Fitzwilliam Museum to analyse the pigments used on illuminated manuscripts. I knew purple used on many manuscripts came from Mediterranean shellfish often used with gold lettering. In the north modern analysis has show the purple in the Lindesfarne Gospels and other books came from lichens. Good to know that a millennium + of tradition is alive and well in Norway!
