King, I fully agree. I joined back in 2005 when it seemed like the voice for the franchise gamers. Now you say anything against Madden you get banned. When I need a good laugh I read through the post acting like they know the game. It helps pass the time on those long bus rides to go coach games on the path to my 4th state title. They could have a voice of change, but rather just another part of the problem.
Cade, NCAA was my favorite series. It was a yearly purchase from 97-2012, then 14. Madden was a every 2-3 years. Since Madden 10 I have only purchased 25, 18, & 20, but all 3 were less than half price.

They need to know that EA doesn't give a crap about whether or not they defend the game. The only thing they care about is you charging that credit card for more MUT packs to get the same 74 overall players with 9422 Awareness and 6.158 speed every time. The second you stop doing that, they don't care for your opinion. I'd argue they didn't care for your opinion even when you did buy MUT packs, but they certainly won't once you stop doing that.

Madden 19 was my previous one too. I pre-ordered M21 thinking with 2 years it would be noticeably better. If anything, it's worse. The story is flat-out nonsensical, the menus are sloppier and less user-friendly, and honestly the ballcarrier control is way worse. M19 sucks compared to some that came before it, but it's way better than M21.
EA makes more money off the micro transactions than most companies make from selling their games. FiFA ultimate team earned them like $800,000,000 in 2016 alone. Just that one type of transaction....... then they use that money to maintain exclusivity. Until the people who buy every FIFA and Madden stop purchasing them nothing will change.

The clipping in this game is atrocious! How is it in 2020 we still have players completely clipping through bodies? I understand some form of clipping is going to happen in video games, but damn EA! The sad part is they had collision detection cleaned up in Madden 16 but it's been trash ever since... Players constantly walk right through other players bodies lying on the field. Players roll right through the legs of lineman engaged in uninterruptible 2 man blocking sequences, etc. EA really needs to make physics & collision with a priority for Next Gen. The game will always be trash until they clean this up!
I agree, I've been tacked so many times after I've passed the pursuer. I'm behind him with his back to me and some how while I'm on a full sprint and past him with his back towards me somehow tackles me.
I also hate how the defense still has absolutely no field awareness. I’ll be engaging in a tackle and the CPU teammate will try to help tackle but they tackle from behind or another dumb animation to push them a few more yards for the first down. It’s annoying knowing the offense wouldn’t have gotten the first down if it weren’t for the CPU player

My teammates tackled the QB near the end zone, my player (Franchise mode) was about to recover the fumble and score a TD...for some reason my player fell for no reason...the CGI then labeled the play a safety...and of course from that point on My team did the free kick versus receiving it

I play Franchise Mode and the FIRST franchise I started was the New York Giants on the day the game came out. Played the first three games of pre-season... and guess what? The Arizona Cardinals actually cut Larry Fitzgerald. I immediately turned off my PS4 and havent played Madden21 since.

You really believe 2k would make a good sports game? They butchered the wwe games series and the last nba 2k I actually enjoyed was 2k15. The only thing 2k would maybe do right is add a career mode that has some value to it. Yet even if they did they’d probably hamstring your ability to upgrade your player at a proper pace or all the way without having to drop some cash on whatever their in game currency would be. They’d also add their own myteam mode for it with just as much micro transactions as EA’s ultimate team mode.
Loaded up madden 19 this afternoon, same exact stuff. If the hole isn't a mile wide you'll get sucked into a tackle animation for no gain everytime by a defender who is engaged in a block or not even facing you

Hey have anyone else experienced the "Solar Flare" glitch yet? It happened 3 TIMES when I played a game against the Giants. Honestly this year is a great example why we need more the one Official SIM. Unless 2k Arcade Football game next year COMPLETELY drop the ball, I'm buying that before Madden next year.
I was streaming playing a collection of football games NCAA 07, NFL Street, Bliz the League and Madden 07. I remember Playing Madden 07 someone got injured and they literally had commentary “saying this person has such and such injury and will be out for the rest of the game”. I then went on this rant of how do you lose attention to detail within 10 years of making the same game? Like now all you get is a menu saying keep him or substitute no commentary or anything. Another example changed my teams uniform in franchise mode and in the newspaper it talked about the changes made to that uniform.....come on EA

I can replicate a glitch that makes your LG turn in your outside receiver and still run their route. It is deadly and broken. Your guard is also at the WR1 spot so you can roll that way and have a blocker set up

Remember when the last sports games of the current generation were the most feature heavy and fine-tuned, and it sucked to have to start from scratch on the new generation? I thought Madden 25 was terrible when it released, but i am extremely disappointed to say it is so far beyond anything released this generation. But back to the original point- this is the first time ive seen what should be the culmination of a generations worth of knowledge and design, instead replaced by the lowest hanging fruit of labor. If i was the NFL, i would find a loophole or an opt out asap, because no amount of promises and pretty words are picking Madden up out of the dumpster EA has discarded it into. EA doesnt care anymore.
I'd agree with you but it's not that long since the NFL reupped with EA for another 6/7 years. They're seeing all the $$$ and obviously aren't looking to put out the best product representing their brand. Staying with EA is probably great financially (we'll see how 21 plays out....) but they should also realise that any major title with NFL license is going to sell by the boat load, EA aren't creating these sales themselves.

Last Madden I purchased was 16. I thought they did some good things, the gameplay was decent but after a while it got so stale. So glad I haven't purchased another and won't until they do something innovative and give a decent franchise mode.

There are so many small details that’s are messed up as well. I did FF and one seen showed me in the home jersey and my teammates in the away jersey. And there are times when players are in white jerseys with blue numbers. Not at all team colors.

I play madden 04 and some late ncaa, and I used to love madden, but I realized that I was getting boned out of 60 dollars every year

Players constantly walk right through other players bodies lying on the field. Players roll right through the legs of lineman engaged in uninterruptible 2 man blocking sequences, etc.

I agree, I've been tacked so many times after I've passed the pursuer. I'm behind him with his back to me and some how while I'm on a full sprint and past him with his back towards me somehow tackles me.
I also hate how the defense still has absolutely no field awareness. I’ll be engaging in a tackle and the CPU teammate will try to help tackle but they tackle from behind or another dumb animation to push them a few more yards for the first down. It’s annoying knowing the offense wouldn’t have gotten the first down if it weren’t for the CPU player

I miss the old Madden's, when deepthreats were a real thing. When your receiver didn't drop every pass. Before the xfactor. When you could find a gem of a player that had an overall of 65. When your quarterbacks didn't throw crazy passes when you have somebody wide open. When you could try to persuade your older players from retiring. Sadly the games gotten worse and worse for the last few years

My teammates tackled the QB near the end zone, my player (Franchise mode) was about to recover the fumble and score a TD...for some reason my player fell for no reason...the CGI then labeled the play a safety...and of course from that point on My team did the free kick versus receiving it

I play Franchise Mode and the FIRST franchise I started was the New York Giants on the day the game came out. Played the first three games of pre-season... and guess what? The Arizona Cardinals actually cut Larry Fitzgerald. I immediately turned off my PS4 and havent played Madden21 since.

You really believe 2k would make a good sports game? They butchered the wwe games series and the last nba 2k I actually enjoyed was 2k15. The only thing 2k would maybe do right is add a career mode that has some value to it. Yet even if they did they’d probably hamstring your ability to upgrade your player at a proper pace or all the way without having to drop some cash on whatever their in game currency would be. They’d also add their own myteam mode for it with just as much micro transactions as EA’s ultimate team mode.
Loaded up madden 19 this afternoon, same exact stuff. If the hole isn't a mile wide you'll get sucked into a tackle animation for no gain everytime by a defender who is engaged in a block or not even facing you

I heard one of EA PART OWNERS youngest son named billy, age 17 now 2020. Has been making the games since age 13 since 2013. Billy has been making EA MADDEN games 7 years in a roll. Billy will one day do better. Keep on supporting him & Buy MADDEN 21.

We all should be upset. For more than 15 Years of NFL exclusivity this is what we get. A carbon copy year to year thats glitchy mess that hasn’t evolved. But you can bet that Micro-transaction screen is a flawless masterpiece that will not be glitchy when your money goes through.
I cant even play madden 21. Franchise mode crashes everytime i finish a game. Went to the help section for ea to tell them about this problem and something like 60 people already reported it. This was 3 weeks ago. Still hasnt been fixed.
Hey have anyone else experienced the "Solar Flare" glitch yet? It happened 3 TIMES when I played a game against the Giants. Honestly this year is a great example why we need more the one Official SIM. Unless 2k Arcade Football game next year COMPLETELY drop the ball, I'm buying that before Madden next year.

I was streaming playing a collection of football games NCAA 07, NFL Street, Bliz the League and Madden 07. I remember
Playing Madden 07 someone got injured and they literally had commentary “saying this person has such and such injury and will be out for the rest of the game”. I then went on this rant of how do you lose attention to detail within 10 years of making the same game? Like now all you get is a menu saying keep him or substitute no commentary or anything.
Another example changed my teams uniform in franchise mode and in the newspaper it talked about the changes made to that uniform.....come on EA

I can replicate a glitch that makes your LG turn in your outside receiver and still run their route. It is deadly and broken. Your guard is also at the WR1 spot so you can roll that way and have a blocker set up

Remember when the last sports games of the current generation were the most feature heavy and fine-tuned, and it sucked to have to start from scratch on the new generation? I thought Madden 25 was terrible when it released, but i am extremely disappointed to say it is so far beyond anything released this generation. But back to the original point- this is the first time ive seen what should be the culmination of a generations worth of knowledge and design, instead replaced by the lowest hanging fruit of labor. If i was the NFL, i would find a loophole or an opt out asap, because no amount of promises and pretty words are picking Madden up out of the dumpster EA has discarded it into. EA doesnt care anymore.
I'd agree with you but it's not that long since the NFL reupped with EA for another 6/7 years. They're seeing all the $$$ and obviously aren't looking to put out the best product representing their brand. Staying with EA is probably great financially (we'll see how 21 plays out....) but they should also realise that any major title with NFL license is going to sell by the boat load, EA aren't creating these sales themselves.
Rinky Dink NFL will remain a part of the problem until something drastic happens, just like how they handled shitting on Kaepernick for years. Theyre incapable of proper decision making and EA is right there with them. Making money. The only thing that matters.

One thing I have noticed is that glitchy games a mind-numbingly fun until you see the glitch and it takes you out of the game
They probably have a trigger around the ball....if a player hits that trigger area then they go into a catching animation (talking about the TE play)

Last Madden I purchased was 16. I thought they did some good things, the gameplay was decent but after a while it got so stale. So glad I haven't purchased another and won't until they do something innovative and give a decent franchise mode.

On that first play, the slot WR (Beasley) blocks more people than your interior line.
1)How can you return a punt or a kick?
2)Why can't you replay a penalty?
3)Why can't you access instant replay?
4)Why does the screen say "nothing to challenge" when accessing challenge play?
Man I hate when I’m blocking on the line and my running back hits me and just stops dead in his tracks.
There are so many small details that’s are messed up as well. I did FF and one seen showed me in the home jersey and my teammates in the away jersey. And there are times when players are in white jerseys with blue numbers. Not at all team colors.
