She's one in a million nothings compare. Even now as Jake zyrus unbelievable sya lang talaga ang nag iisang tao na me ganyang boses na pinapakingan mo lang ang kinakanta nya sigurado tutulo ang luha mo kumanta siya galing sa puso niya kaya talagang bawat lyrics na kinakanta na nya mararamdaman naten lahat. Aminin nyo sa sarili nyo kung ilang beses nyo pinakingan ng paulit ulit ang kanta nya pero ni minsan hindi kayo nagsawa kasi meron talagang kakaibang himig ang galing niya sa pag kanta.
Jake's singing voice before transitioning was indeed incredible. There is no denying that. But it breaks my heart to see so many cursing him out or saying that he "wasted" his talent. A voice change obviously changes the voice, that's a given. Some boys have incredible voices and then unfortunately don't get to keep them after puberty. Male puberty did the same to Jake, to an extent. He's still a brilliant singer, he just can't use his voice quite the same way he did before. The truth is, he has what he needs. He can finally be himself. Why on earth should he spend his entire life pretending to be someone he isn't, just because "he could've been a superstar". Jake is not a girl. Jake was never a girl. He just happened to look like one physically at birth, and so that's what people decided he was. Growing up, he still looked like a girl, so much that he had to pretend to be one. Now he's finally free of that and can be his true self. I will always admire the incredible voice Charice had, but I admire Jake even more for having the courage to be who he truly is. I'm prouder of him now than ever before. Knowing how sweet he is, I'm sure the hate comments hurt, but I hope he gets past them and holds his head up high. His talent was and always will be there, only not in the same way. What matters most is being comfortable in his own skin and being happy. I wish people would focus more on that. If you loved Charice, then you should love Jake, because that's who he's always truly been.

She's one in a million nothings compare. Even now as Jake zyrus unbelievable sya lang talaga ang nag iisang tao na me ganyang boses na pinapakingan mo lang ang kinakanta nya sigurado tutulo ang luha mo kumanta siya galing sa puso niya kaya talagang bawat lyrics na kinakanta na nya mararamdaman naten lahat. Aminin nyo sa sarili nyo kung ilang beses nyo pinakingan ng paulit ulit ang kanta nya pero ni minsan hindi kayo nagsawa kasi meron talagang kakaibang himig ang galing niya sa pag kanta.
Jake's singing voice before transitioning was indeed incredible. There is no denying that. But it breaks my heart to see so many cursing him out or saying that he "wasted" his talent. A voice change obviously changes the voice, that's a given. Some boys have incredible voices and then unfortunately don't get to keep them after puberty. Male puberty did the same to Jake, to an extent. He's still a brilliant singer, he just can't use his voice quite the same way he did before. The truth is, he has what he needs. He can finally be himself. Why on earth should he spend his entire life pretending to be someone he isn't, just because "he could've been a superstar". Jake is not a girl. Jake was never a girl. He just happened to look like one physically at birth, and so that's what people decided he was. Growing up, he still looked like a girl, so much that he had to pretend to be one. Now he's finally free of that and can be his true self.
I will always admire the incredible voice Charice had, but I admire Jake even more for having the courage to be who he truly is. I'm prouder of him now than ever before. Knowing how sweet he is, I'm sure the hate comments hurt, but I hope he gets past them and holds his head up high. His talent was and always will be there, only not in the same way. What matters most is being comfortable in his own skin and being happy. I wish people would focus more on that. If you loved Charice, then you should love Jake, because that's who he's always truly been.
