    I remember that very first 400 yards, on the tarmac path, of the Llanberris path being really steep and we all thought, this is going to be a nightmare but it soon straightened out a bit but man, I did not realise how gig the battery was on an ebike. Looked hard work but when you get a view like that from the second bridge, all worth it and what a view indeed from the summit - stunning! Epic ride up and epic ride down, well earned rest I would say, cheers Alan

    • @2FeetForward
      @2FeetForward  4 года назад +1

      I thought the same thing at the start . I’ve never done this path before and was shocked how steep that tarmac bit was and was a bit worried about the battery at first. It is big though , I’d say it’s about in the middle of size range but lasts me well . As you say all worth it though 👍

    Hi A & L, another fine video Austin, streamed it onto the telly, nice views from the summit of snowdon, the Ascent up the Llanberis Path seemed not too difficult but the descent down the Snowdon Ranger Path looked very challenging, , anyway I still think you need to do the ascent on the EMTB up Grib Goch, I couls sit on the saddle, joking apart though, I only walked up Grib Goch once when I was 19, 48 years ago, never again, my underpants were a bit sticky when I got to the top I can tell you and no cafe or facilities at the top, but seriosly though Snowdon is a wonderful place to be when its a fine day, another favourite is Cader Idris or Tryfan , all fine walks, One gripe I can understand the need to use music to mask out the wind noise, but the music on this was repetitive and it made my hearing aids vibrate in protest, next time how about The Sound of Music, The King and I, Carousel, or Beethovens 7th, the pastoral symphony, looking forward to the next video, although I don't think you'll beat this one very easily, kind regards to Lucy and Family as always,
    Ditch the beat and lets boogie !

    • @2FeetForward
      @2FeetForward  4 года назад

      Haha, hi Mike. i really struggled choosing the music on this one as i wanted to show a good bit of the descent but it's so long i had to loop the music so it does go on a bit.
      I definitely want to have a go at Cadair Idris on the bike next year and maybe camp at the top. You never know , i might even manage a Beethoven soundtrack but Yul Brynner is definitely banned lol. Hope you are both well .

    Love it!! Bit of a random Q - what tyres and pressures are u running on that Rocky stuff??

    • @2FeetForward
      @2FeetForward  4 года назад +1

      Nah , love mtb tech questions 👍. Tyres are Michelin Wild Enduro , the back is the Ewild 2.8 ( 2.6 is better)and the front is standard 2.4 . Tubeless , 30 in the back and 23 in the front , I also stiffened the suspension higher than I normally have it and sped the rebound up a click and the low speed compression 2 clicks harder to avoid the dive . Bet you wish you’d never asked lol .

      2 Feet Forward Great info! I’m a complete saddo who can’t help himself but fiddle with settings like my air pressures anyway! Just changed forks over to new rock shox air too So I better get out there and try it all out! Cheers

    Good job you went up early. Have you seen photos taken on Snowdon recently of the massive queues of Instagrammers waiting in line for ages to have their picture taken on the summit. There's even been fights when people are seen to be jumping the queue.....madness!!! Glad you enjoyed it but Snowdon is not a peak I as someone living in north Wales would ever go near. Looking forward to your Llandegla vlog.

    • @2FeetForward
      @2FeetForward  4 года назад +1

      Madness isn’t it ! There was only about 4or 5 of us up there at first but the amount of people heading up from the Rangers was unbelievable. It’s usually one of the quieter paths . I made sure I was off the mountain easily by 10 but it had to be done as it’s considered one of the “rides of passage” , a list made years ago of absolute must do rides for mtbers , I’ve nearly done them all now. To be honest I was a little disappointed with Llandegla but I’d built my hopes up too much I think unfortunately. Stayed at a cracking little campsite at a fishery opposite though 👍
