Thank you you were extremely helpful without wasting time.
My second flooring project first time used a saw and that was literally the first time I used a saw. Excited to use the Robert’s 22 inch floor cutter I rented from Home Depot. Your favorite cutter to use. Makes confident in this project. Thank you
Celeste from Atizona
You’re welcome, glad to help
I won the Roberts cutter from you a while back! It’s a beast and helped me get started in hard surface LVP and Laminate work. Thanks FBSB! ✌️
That is awesome, really glad you are getting good. Use out of it and glad that it allowed you to expand into other areas of the industry. Keep up the good work, my friend. Keep learning and keep expanding.
I own the Crain 13" and I've never cut hardwood with it but I have cut engineered and anything over 3/8" it has a hard time with unless you have a new blade. And if your using it primarily for engineered or hardwood your gonna burn through blades quick! Cuts lvp really good and laminate pretty good too.
That’s exactly my experience with it, it almost feels like it’s going to break in half when I am trying to cut hardwood with it or even some laminate, I just wasn’t very pleased with it overall
I have a bullet tools 13”, a Roberts 26” and the Crain 9”. I use them for different products, the Bullet tools is the toughest, but heavy, the Roberts is ok, but doesn’t cut as easily, and the Crain is very light and cuts good, but limited. So I would say they all are equal in that they all have pros and cons. I like having tool options depending on what I’m installing.
I couldn’t agree more with having tool options, definitely good to have a variety just like he said for whatever product you are working with
Wd40 should fix it. I love the Crain
I hear ya, it was actually your recommendation that got me to buy this cutter. It was the first one I ever had and I thought it was boss until I tried a handful of other ones. It will definitely get the job done but in comparison to the other ones out there it is definitely not on top.
I want to buy the d-cut, but my job starts Thursday and I'm in northern Nevada. No one within 500 miles has one. My timing is terrible.
I used the Robert’s today for the first time and the blade chip on me a couple of times I don’t know if I recommend it !
Dang I have used mine for probably a year with the same blade in a has no chips in it at all, it is the same one that is in this video.
@@FloorsbySouthernboys I might Got a bad blade I know is a good machine but I surprised about the blade preformed on my job I will buy a replacement and see if I get lucky thanks for your quick response !
@@carlosandresguerra3690 your welcome
When you feel a little Pain, pull out the Crain 😂 #flooringcutters
😂😂
Can the Roberts cutter make rip cuts? Im starting a DIY job and my neighbor lent me that machine.
No sir
@@FloorsbySouthernboys Thank you.
My Crain is much better than the Roberts. MY Crain does not squeak and if you look at the thickness of the handle enter walls they are twice as thick. Not a very good video. More of a Propaganda video for Roberts than anything.
Ok thank you
