All of those went 260 just not in a straight line
The sensor does the math with club head speed and ball compression to calculate approximate carry distance. All of them went 260yds, but not all carried.

@@yepdontcarebud because you would never take an average from 3 shots in the first place, even your handicap is calculated by taking the average of your 8 best scores of 20 total rounds.
when you're in a teebox and you think you average about 150 with a 9 iron do you think golfers are calculating in the times they muffed the ball 6 yards when determining the yardage of that club?
@@yepdontcarebudhe’s answering what he’d hit it with a good strike. Just because you accidentally chunk a pitching wedge and it rolls 30 yards doesn’t mean your stock yardage isn’t still 140 yards with a wedge when hit ideal.

Range balls generally dont go as far as regular balls. Trackman range near me has "convert" feature to adjust distance between range and regular. Can add like 20yds to driver
not rly true. It adds up, but not like that, If u had 1.5 smash than it could be like 10-15y, but with his poor contact it doesant matter rly.
@@dvgolf9915 Now I'm no golf expert but I fundamentally disagree with that 10-15y estimation. One, the wear & tear on the ball could easily drop more yards. Two, even assuming a brand new range ball my own experience has been somewhere in the 20-30y range. Got brand new balls at my range and smashed a bucket with driver and absolutely could not get it to carry more than the 210 stick but I easily can get a pro plus 230.
Depends on the range, nice ranges have good balls.

It’s an iPhone not a track man and he’s hitting range balls. I wouldn’t trust any of those numbers. That last one with a good ball wouldn’t surprise me if it went 300 total

@AlanenJ dont think so. Its worse but not that much. 165 ball speed is pure shot like for 110 clubhead speed. With 120 you are getting somewhere between 175-180 ball. Iam training with launch monitors on range almost every day and when I swing relaxed with 113 swing Iam doing 168-172 ball speed. With 120 swing my best on range was like 178 ball.
I would say that swing speed is not measured good on this launch monitor because why dafuck would he swing 113 and then 120, its huuuge difference.

the rapsodo sometimes gets funky on club speed. Ill get random irons that say like 112mph

I wear a baseball glove. I get lots of doubles and triples with that glove. Sometimes even hit it over the fences 😂

My furthest drive that I could confirm was 340 and some change onto the green of a par 4 in my hometown

In England when someone says how far do you drive it. I always say my carry first. The roll out can be anywhere from 30 yards all the way down to minus -3 yards😂

However, you don't REALLY need the exaggerated approach you posted,.which hits at your very limited undertanding of golf.
You forgot about the club path, which is the most important factor here.
You will have unintended side spin. It happens at all levels.
But that slice ... he *IS* swinging outside/in.

For me, instruction is very important. In the periods I practiced without frequent checks (every 2 or 3 weeks), I start developing bad habits. Very few are natural players, so this is not uncommon.
The second factor is to practice (as much as you can), with purpose and focus. That is, bring one objective to your practice (let's say, focus on any changes to your start of your backswing) and specifically work on THAT. Not on 10 things ... on ONE thing, and improve THAT. If you work on 10 things, you achieve nothing. This means you are working on what your instructor told you is the MOST important flaw in your swing. Or at most, you may have two important flaws.
Third factor is play. Practice is irrelevant if you don't bring thise changes to the course.
Last one is competition. I haven't fully reached this one yet. You need to be able to do all of that under pressure. Especially difficult when you are playing well.

120 on the last swing too, could easily be sitting 300 carry 315 total

Not true at all. he said he averaged265 not how many strokes will it take to get you to 265… he averages about 30 yrds less. Anytime you ask a golfer what distance they hit know they average about 30 yrds less than what they say.

@@divotdudes Official shot data shows the top 21 PGA players all have an average carry above 300 with Mcilory leading at 307.4 (317 total distance.)
Same with the LIV golfers. The stats are about the same with Dechambeu leading the pack.
@@twotimer6731 Considering 156 guys are competing at the start of The PGA Championship as an example, don’t you think taking only the top 21 guys on the driving distance stat sheet is taking an even smaller sample size to prove a point? Tour average is 291(total, not carry). I wouldn’t mind being as good as Morikawa who sits below average on driving distance but finished 4th in The PGA Championship, just food for thought.
@benvw7533 Morikawa is an anomaly. Most major winners these days are above average in driving distance. There is a strong correlation with driving distance and scoring on the PGA Tour

@@divotdudes I didn’t say anything about average of pga tour , zac Blair hits it’s like 240😂 i said “long hitters” don’t hit it 265 , and also I’ve never seen a single person wear a baseball glove… oh , unless you’ve never not been to a driving range because I’m sure people who have never actually played golf and just go to a range wear a baseball glove … also if this guy really swung it at 120 , he would be getting over 265 very easily , but like I said his smash factor is extremely low so he must be hitting it like crap or the numbers just don’t add up … if a tour player swung it at 120 and hit it decently off the face they’d have 10 more mph of ball speed , just with decent contact , so they’d be hitting it at least 20 yards further … if you really wanna keep doing this stuff you’d have to get a good launch monitor and then we could trust the numbers
