thank you so much for your video, the hands on tutorial you display is exceptional and i appreciate the commentary throughout. well done and I am excited to start my first bog.
Always look forward to your videos - this one was great and, although the miniature gardens are not my 'thing' to do myself, I loved seeing what you did with them and how you did it. My nieces and nephew were over today and were fascinated by the carnivorous plants as I am (although the VFT did not have a single open trap after they had played with them!).
Hello i have been watching a lot of your videos since finding your channel recently, i think you are very creative and those arrangements you made prove it, they are very beautiful and you inspire me and im sure many others to try too! I really like the way you crafted your own little ornaments for them and the advice and tips you share on your channel are very much appreciated! Would love an update on these minature bog gardens if possible and keep making them, they're great !!! Thank you again, looking forward to more videos.
Woah!! I absolutely love this!!! You are so creative! I absolutely love the decorations you have made!! I think the way you have placed it looks absolutely beautiful ❤️ really enjoyed this! 😊
Have you done a terrarium before? I was curious about doing one. I have an American pitcher plant, couple of vft’s, lots of sundew’s (red and white) and two pitch fork type plants. I was wondering if they’d go together in a terrarium
Hi there, yes I have done terrariums before using Pinguicula and drosera. Temperate species such as vft, sarracenia and drosera binata do not do well in terrariums as they all require dormancy and don’t need humidity. You can use subtropical drosera such as capensis, Mexican Pinguicula, Cephalotus or Nepenthes. All these will do well in a terrarium. Hope this helps
Where do you get your plants from I want to start but don't know where to get them from I want to do the little sunder and the long skin one with the flower on the end do you sell any of your plants they are beautiful
For the bog garden, I won’t change the soil unless there is evident damage to the plants or something obviously wrong with the soil to prevent wastage of the soil
Those featured in the video were just my typicals, they’re my favourite typicals I’ve come across but were originally garden centre rescues from 8 years ago
The planter is doing well, the sundews have died down to the roots and the flytrap is currently in dormancy so haven’t included it in many videos however I’ll make sure to feature it soon
Love it.

Do you just put the pot in water ?
Yes, all plants and pots sit in water trays 24/7 during the growing season
Do you have to change out the soil every few years for the bog gardens?
For the bog garden, I won’t change the soil unless there is evident damage to the plants or something obviously wrong with the soil to prevent wastage of the soil
Your venus flytrap are so huge!!!! What kind are they?????
