Yooruce Willis she isn't anymore- she said that she does not want to promote like an idol. all the artists in studio j make their own music and do not want to promote like an idol. it's not studio j that are bad at promoting, but the artists not wanting to promote. yerin had her own mini album which she self composed and wrote, and is going on radio shows- i think that's good enough for her, especially since she wants it that way.
+jinlissul to be more accurate its like jyp said they realized their mistake with 2am. Singers should not promote like idls going on a few music shows i fine which 15& goes,ahyeon and so on. But if you notice singers/singer songwriters rarely ever appear on music shows. Like Crush, Zion T, Davichi, Bbaek Jiyoung. It best to promtoe via the radio or concerts as it has more artistic feel. Not that singers dont want to but its better not go. Plus JYP said shows arent as interested in sginers as idol groups so its harder to book an act like Yerin, Gsoul or Day6.

Because audience of music shows is mostly preteens and teens who would change the channel if foudn performer boring. Plus it gives them more artis feel to not promote at all or rarely on music show like ZionT,Davichi or Crush. They are all very successful without having to appear on a music shows they only do radio,events and concerts. Yerin song was number 1 on charts, her song still in top30 and album doing well. She was in top 10 of all music shows for a bit too. Further proof she doesnt even need music shows because audience will buy her music and know about her regardless.
justwinthere Well Jimin performed her song once on Kpopstar, but other than that I think she said it was too strenuous on her voice to perform this particular song on music shows, but I'm not so sure right now.... It was a pity since she could've at least promote for a week, it was a great song!!!
