Yeah, I saw that Audrey is acting like a brat but I'm wondering if the producer told her to act this way to think there will be rating of her being a brat.
The original dance moms was already problematic but this show genuinely makes me uncomfortable. The moms are terrible, and the kids are getting directly involved in the drama. There are kids crying literally every single episode but I personally feel like it makes sense. This new season was WAY more dramatic and they were under intense stress to not be cut
While these kids are absolutely stressed to a worrying level, I just want to point out that Abby didn’t let the kids cry. She would send them out of the room to tell them to stop, I think it’s better that Goo lets them show how they’re feeling. That being said, yeah, this show feels like the pitfalls of kids trying to be famous
They are definitely trying to be the original but it’s good the moms are crazy though and Glo is definitely the new Abby well is trying to be and she’s good at it
OH I'VE BEEN WAITING TO CHAT ABOUT THIS ONE. here's some of my hot takes. 1. i feel like i enjoyed the original dance moms because the kids, for lack of a better term, stayed in a child's place. they didn't get involved in the mom's drama most of time and were extremely compassionate towards each other . 2. these little girl's attitudes SUCK. the slick comments, the talking back, the screaming at their mother's. major turn off. i definitely agree with you when you said you think it might be something deeper with ashlan. 3. Mina was also my favorite, she's very talented and super funny. 4. something about grown women talking mess about children never sat right with me. it's disgusting. and then they do it right in front of the kids and think it's not gonna mess with their performance?? 5. i didn't mind Glo as a teacher. at least she's not calling them dingbats and failures. she shows a lot more compassion to the girls than abby does.
i was with you till the end but lesbian dance was based off the show heart stopper and story is about kids who are discovering themselves not much older than the girls in dance moms. nothing wrong with that. they bring in a boy to tell love story’s many times on the og show so… what’s different. also dance is supposed to be expressive and tell challenging story’s thru movement and expression. i personally discovered i was gay at around 8-9 years old on my own at least these girl are in a supportive environment and a free to express themselves however they want too. with out anything being forced either way.
Also Leilah was not put on the team because she’s black 😭Leilah is a INSANELY TALENTED dancer she remind me a lot of Ashlans dancing. Leilah is not a lyrical dancer she’s very upbeat. She is loved by the studio and has been there since she was basically a baby. Glos daughter calls her a “mini me”
my personal thoughts on the show: -smiley and mina were by far my favorites. smiley because she was really sweet and unlike the other girls, she didn't get involved with any of the drama with them and although she may have had a few moments (possibly only one or two that I remember of correct me if I'm wrong I haven't watched this show since august) there weren't as much unlike some of the other girls. mina because she is an amazing dancer for being only 8 years old and she was also really funny. -I agreed with you with Audrey, I did like her at the beginning of the show but towards the end I kinda wanted to slap her... yes, the producers may have told her to treat gina that way so they could have more drama bc I know they did that a lot on the og show but I still thought that was rude and I really didn't lime that -imo, I kinda agree with you about Ashlan maybe having a disorder but also maybe the producers told her to throw a tantrum or smith like that idrk however, I didn't like how they put her crying a lot in the show bc first, it was rlly annoying (no offense to Ashlan, this is more towards the producers) bc someone could've cried just as much but they only decided to put shots of her crying in. but I did think that she was also very bratty at times. dance wise, she doesn't have the best technique but its still pretty good but let me tell you (especially from the nationals dance) she has so much potential for acting -personally I liked glo, she didn't call her kids nasty names like abby (but again abby could've been told by the producers to say those things) and I also think she has a healthy relationship with her students but she was kinda the same in every episode so I don't have much to say about her. -at first I didn't like gina, I thought that it was rude to take away the spotlight from all of the kids who actually made the show (keep in mind this was the time when I still kinda liked Audrey) but then after seeing her dance, I don't know how she didn't make the show in the first place. I started to really like her and feel bad for her at the same time bc of the way the moms were treating her overall the show was slightly better than I expected, I would give it a good 6.8/10 definitely not better than the og. personally I feel like they should've chose a different studio, studio bleu is good, however there are many other studios (Larkin, club, p21, CSPAS, Mather just to name a few) who are really good and produce amazing dancers technique and performance wise. I wouldn't go back and rewatch this as much as I did with the og show but I would say overall its ok- not my least favorite show but definitely not my favorite.
It’s showing the entitlement of Sephora kids and just kids in this era in general. I’m so glad I grew up a few years earlier, before Covid, because really changed these kids development. Like Audrey? That’s so embarrassing, and I’m not going to talk about Ashlynn’s issues but that’s also shows she shouldn’t be there and I feel like she should be getting the help she need off of a highly competitive and intense setting.
I really enjoyed the reboot however I was really triggered by Ashland’s behavior and how her mom didn’t get a hold of that horrible behavior. And I agree Ms. Glo wasn’t that bad ❤
You mean her severe (most likely not diagnosed yet) anxiety? Thst isn’t her fault. She cried a lot about making one small mistake and constantly thinking it was over for her. She was having anxiety attacks. And I saw her mom trying to help but I understand exactly why she was making it worse. The scene with her hair for example. Mom’s just trying to make sure Ashland looks good before she goes out there. As soon as she asked abt Sabrina carpenter the switch flipped and she’s like oh I could never pull that off I look nothing like her I’m gonna look dumb it’s over. That’s how her brain works. I hope soon the adults see she’s dealing with a disorder and someone gets her meds or therapy to help. She seems like a good kid. Her determination turns into emotion when the stakes are high
@@Ajay.Plantsdude that whole plot line of that solo pissed me the fuck off. And I realize a lot/all of it was producers, but as soon as Glow said they were in charge of the costume, hair and character I was just like “why do you think giving a kid who clearly gets over stressed *more* things to worry about and focus on is going to be something fun?” And then when *shockingly* she broke down while talking about it with Glow and she just kept saying “this is supposed to be fun!” I just wanted to yell “while clearly it’s not!” At my screen. Then the whole “is this how Sabrina Carpenter would act?” It was just the “guilt trip comparison” cherry on top of the awful plot. Cause also like I want to assume the best of Sabrina but 1) we *often* hear of celebrities who act a thousand times worse than Ashlan ever did and 2) *why* are we comparing how professional an adult acts to a literal 11 year old? Like no shit an adult whose worked in entertainment since she was a child is (at least seemingly) going to be able to handle it better than a child whose first job in the entertainment industry also happens to be an insanely stressful one!
These kids are on the internet and TikTok too much. Ashlan saying it hurts when her mom “abuses” her is outrageous. She’s digesting content that her brain is not comprehending properly and it’s causing her to have things like panic attacks and what not. She’s watching teens or young adults express maybe their rocky relationships with their parents and then standing up to their parents (which has been popular content lately) and she’s applying that to any situation that she does not like and taking it as her mom being a mean/bad mom and at least on camera that is not the case. We’re seeing such an uptick in kids having anger issues, body dysmorphia, and self esteem problems due to the media they are consuming and the “abuse” comment gave classic too much TikTok all day.
I kind of felt bad for her too. Mostly because her mum Jin behaved like Ashlee from season 6 and 7, constantly bragging about her daughter thinking Gina was better than everyone else. I don’t know if Jin did that for the cameras or not.
Thoughts because I can’t really explain them anywhere else, and I felt for these kids. I study psych, and still dance ( grew up on the show, same age range as Maddie and Kendall). I will say I’ve seen girls like Ashlan, I had a similar problem with outbursts at her age. It’s called “Disruptive Mood Dysregulation Disorder”. With the symptoms being stress, anxiety, depression (which people don’t realize often makes the person mad instead of sad constantly), etc. I’m by no means diagnosing her, I just think she has an emotional regulation issue (many disorders share that symptom). She killed that body bag dance tho, I was bawling. Her cry at the end with the silence, her genuine connection to the dance, and her breakdown after the dance in the wings. You saw her mature as a dancer in that moment, and grow as a person. If you’ve ever had to dance in an emotional way, and bring it out, and u break…..man is it overwhelming but powerful in the sense of growth. Glo living in Audrey’s home is a conflict of interest to a t. You see it in how Audrey acts entitled, despite other girls being better in other areas than her dance wise. Glo allows her to be entitled. Glo allows her to lie imo because that foot thing was giving Mackenzie’s storyline, but no actual proof the girl was hurt. Kaeli clocked it, and for her to get away with that on tv is very problematic and concerning. I get faking being sick if u want to stay home, out of school, whatever. But faking a foot injury before a dance you felt you couldn’t do, leaving the team high and dry, whilst smiling on the gurney. A smile doesn’t mean ur not hurt, but she bounced back with ease. I will say glo did follow suit after that as far as calming down the favoritism. Maybe kaeli called her like mom get it together stop babying that girl before she’s grown and it’s no longer cute, also to lie to go to a hospital is concerning, I pray it was productions idea and not the child. As that would be a serious matter I would hope any parent would look into. Before she’s lying to bigger extents, at an age where such lie is no longer given grace. She was also mean to other girls, bullying them, again o pray it’s editing but man it’s sad to see. Her mom invited her to the drama a lot, while complaining about it…uhuh. It seems as though people think Mina may be autistic. I’m not diagnosing but I will say her bluntness was refreshing 😂🩷. Her mom lost her eldest so I feel like that’s why we see her push Mina so hard. I like their bond too. If Mina says something in confessionals that’s blunt her mom checks it, then they laugh and Mina corrects how she said something. I think the show wanted to peg her as strict as if the viewers aren’t all OG dance moms fans, who more than likely are grown enough to conceptualize how cultures play a factor in strict homes…..how losing a child may make u push the one still alive….very easy to understand Mina and her moms discourse knowing such. I loved watching them, but I do pray to see her comfort Mina just a bit more. Again given confessionals she could already be doing that, but the show has already laid out how they want us to view Mina’s mom. Smiley was a sweetheart for sure. Leila deserved better. It bothered me how she was treated. She was the coined black person. I wanted to see more of her and kaeli because she brought the best out of Leila. Seeing her dancing in the wings had my grown self crying I promise u. It felt like nia all over again. As a black girl it sucked to see. Given their groups tik toks I’m hoping they pegged their storylines and aren’t actually like how they’re depicted. If the goal was less toxicity they def did the opposite 😅
I agree with everything you said. People saying Mina is autistic is crazy to me. I don't see her bluntness as a sign of autism. Some people are blunt and say the first thing that is on their mind without thinking which is Mina in my opinion. Mina's bluntness had me crying laughing while watching this because I was thinking some of the same things she said. The only difference is as an adult I know what to say and what not to say but she's a child. Most little kids especially an 8 year old are learning that there are some things you can say and some things you have to keep in your head. I agree with you on Mina's mom at first I was not feeling her but once I saw the episode about her son, it made everything clear. I hate that they aired something so personal like that on TV especially because her parents don't know. Idk if they can watch Dance moms back in her parents country but what a crazy and heartbreaking way to find out that your grandson has been gone for a long time.
@@LovelyBoston no I’ve mentioned the same on tik tok, regarding her son. Like if she hasn’t told them, it would break their hearts to find out that way. I would want to assume they don’t watch it, but that doesn’t change how the internet is, possible other relatives reaching out to them, leading them to the news. So I hope she got time to tell them. With the autism thing I couldn’t say, I don’t like diagnosing people cause I’m damn sure no doctor 💀….yet 🤣. There’s a few people with autism that have mentioned they think she may have such. I however humbly think that’s not some crazy reach, but I also think people forget her whole older sibling passed while she was at the age to feel the pain of it. She’s very emotional intelligent, and it can also be true that she internalized those feelings hence her bluntness to other peoples emotions around her age. She took on so much and still keeps going, so I feel like she expects that out of everyone. Which is so understandable. She’s so talented, honest, and at this age mannnnn. She will be amazing once of age for principal roles.
@RiRi_Love I absolutely agree with your opinions. You’re not the first person to mention Mina possibly having autism. I’m not qualified to diagnose either but I have worked with autistic children in public schools for years. Not only her bluntness but the flat affect in the way she speaks, and her lack of empathy kinda leads me to think she may have it. It’s not that she was mean but she didn’t connect emotionally. Also I think it may be why she’s so good at dance. A lot of autistic people have a tendency to focus on one particular thing and dance might be that for her. Absolutely one of the best dancers in the group. I can’t say what Ashlan has but I do feel she has some kind of anxiety issue. She definitely did amazing in the last dance, so being able to be vulnerable really helped.
@@DanielleA1855 one love that, I’m at the end of my senior year for psych. Trying to be a child/adolescent psychiatrist. After graduating my hope is to work with autistic children as I head to medical school. Love that you’re in the field and can provide legitimate experience. I completely agree with what you’ve said, only from what I’ve been taught, I’ve yet to have actual experience firsthand like yourself. I also agree ashlan has a disorder that is either gad related….or some issue regulating emotions which I couldn’t say being we didn’t get enough information to make a prediction on causes for her behavior fully. I had the exact type of issues when young, I don’t want to diagnose because lord knows I want to be a doctor but I’m not there yet 😂💕. But many mental illnesses share the symptoms of anxiety so it’s hard to say for her. I would hope though, that her mom saw the show, and possibly tried to help her child due to how ashlan comes off. She’s in no means a bad kid, but her emotions can be concerning. As far as her being so young. Seems like she has many overwhelming feelings, no ability to understand them, so she lashes out.
You are sooooo enjoyable to listen to, and I’m really glad I found your channel! Being 25 I would say I am also a OG dance moms fan.. lol watched the whole series waaaay too many times lowkey got conversations memorized. 😂
Im trying to watch, but it’s honestly so frustrating to watch something that looks like everything’s fake. The original dance moms I’ve watched like 4 times, now this “new era” just seems like they’re trying to copy the originals and that’s the problem. Most parts it’s obvious that it’s so fake and it’s cringy to watch and I think it would be better if they just, didn’t think about how ALDC was, and would do their own thing. Similar, but different. Idk how to explain tbh but I hope someone understands me 😅
Yes the moms fighting they are crazy trying to be the original but their good and yes Glo is definitely the new Abby of this generation she is trying to be
Tbh the vibe I got from watching the show is that the cast isn’t trying to be like the old cast but the producers want them to be so their trying to edit them like it
I think Ashlyn is kind of spoiled mixed with some underlying issue her parents refuse to address. I actually felt really bad for her at first, but after all that crying lol I would have told her to get over it and start dancing
As someone who won't be watching any of the drama but who *did* watch the dances and *did* check out some background on the girls just for context... Glo herself easily could've chosen Audrey as the favorite. Glo has coached Audrey for years and Audrey has already landed a professional job (she was in The Music Man Broadway)
it was said in the show that glo lives in audrey's and tammi's basement (idk if that was literal). The pair dont deserve to return to the next season but if this is true, it might be the case.
one thing that makes me just uncomfortable is the girls NEVER, Like ever had problems with each other. I honestly don’t know why they made a new era, to cause more drama? and one thing I want to talk about is Audrey being mean to other kids and getting involved in other peoples drama , well I don’t even know if they are making Audrey look like a brat for the show , but I hope they are. If they are doing this on purpose, that’s just messed up.
We should be feeling bad for ALL the children on this show.. doesn’t matter how bratty/cocky they are.. they’re just children that shouldn’t be put in these situations Parents are at fault at the end of the day
These are just some of my thoughts. I do agree that Glo was nicer than Abby, and that Ashlan was spoilt and had anxiety and this is coming from both as an Autistic woman and someone whose special interest is the performing arts and being in shows. Whenever it was the day of the performance, I would lash out verbally at my mum as she was getting me ready as a child where even when my mum was talking calmly and nicely, I would lash out but not because of anger, but stage nerves. I have also had anxiety and when you are having a panic attack, talking to me at times does not help due to the anxiety increased state. It varies from individuals but that is what happened to me. Now imagine having cameras filming you while that happens and you know this is going to go on social media for everyone to see and it being there permanently. 8:18 Gina was set up for the show. Audrey competed in the teen division and Gina was a junior. If you look at the results online, Gina scored first place in her division but not in the overalls. 9:44 I would say check out her solos before the show, they were good. Granted she was Maddie’s age when Maddie first started on the show and Maddie was a bit more diverse than Mina, but she was on top of the pyramid and her solos I think have scored first. 11:43. Not an actual timestamp but I think that Bellatrix was always at the bottom of the Pyramid didn’t always equal to her dancing but rather how Roxy always fought and argued with the mums. I think she was creating drama for the show but it was Over the top as though she was playing the stereotypical angry mama bear. The producers did not get that with Holly from the original series, they did a bit with Camille( Cameron Bridges’ Mum from season 7) They got it with Nicaya (who people call Black Patsy), they didn’t get it from Keisha (the season 8 mum of Paris who showed up later) so they wanted to play a negative trope with Roxy).
I’ve been waiting to talk about this lol because I watched this because I’ve seen so many tiktoks of certain narratives and I wanted to know what was going on😭 but I came out having a lot of different opinions them everyone else 5:16 when I watched the show I felt bad for her because you can tell she gets overwhelmed and stressed easily. I really don’t think her mom should have allowed her to be on the show becuz the show is an already extremely stressful imagine someone who really sensitive going through that. 7:43 Honestly I know this an unpopular opinion but idk I really don’t see the “overly bratty” and her being unlike/mean that people keep talking about. Every time I see someone talk say that I’m like where? I’m once or twice she was slightly too cocky but some of y’all make it seem like she was bully everyone or something. 8:40 I loved Gina lol she’s such a beautiful dancer. I don’t really think any of the kids bullied her now the moms 100% but not the girls. 9:48 I think Mina is top 2 or 3 but not 1 at least not yet. But Omg I love Mina she was my fav lol she’s so funny 😭
The show is faker than the original. The teacher is the most boring vanilla instructor that I’ve ever seen. The teacher has no sense of humor or brains. The dancers are at best intermediate level, and have horrible technique. Bent legs in aerials, no hollow bodies on tumbling, no turnout, no pointed feet on switch leaps. It was the same exact moves every week in the group dances. They only time they won solo category was when the dancers ran an old solo. How did they pick Smiley over Gina if this was supposed to be an elite competition level team? That made zero sense! I couldn’t stand the crying chick that wanted to dance recreationally, but put on an elite team. You can’t beat the original show with only 1 or 2 elite level dancers. I was expecting this to be a better team, and it made competition level dancers look awful. I’m not saying all of the girls of Studio Bleu don’t have technique, I just don’t understand how they picked these dancers as the team that would match the OG team. My daughter dancers competition level, so I know what studios have great dancers. So I know they’ve produced some good dancers. My teen dancer was so let down by this show that she didn’t even make it to episode 4 before rage quitting the show.
because children shouldn’t be worried about relationships whether that’s straight or gay, not even for entertainment value through a dance. It’s inappropriate.
@@midnightzxnethese kids (with the exception of Mina really) are entering puberty tho, they are going to have crushes and have cute relationships like the one shown
I think the producers have decided to edit Lily out or make her look boring for some reason because I saw her on Glos daughters vlog (while they’re filming by the way) and she has so much personality! It’s strange. I could be wrong though.😅
They edited out her solo from episode 3. She beat ashlans solo. They are So many signs in that episode that she did a solo. But they wanted to focus more on Audrey and Ashlan. It's sad cuz her solo was good!!
@@GreeneGoblin6it’s because their moms starts the most drama. If you remember the original Holly and Nia barely got any good solos because Holly doesn’t start dramas that’s why she started in season 5 and look at Nia getting all those opportunities
I have been waiting as well to comment on this show. I just finished it and boy do I have a lot of things I want to say. Right off the bat you could see how much this new era/new generation has changed since the original dance moms. This was gen-alpha, the girls had their Stanleys, their Kendra Scott necklaces, etc. But I'm not shocked because this is the generation we are living in. However, It made me disappointed to see how fake and rude some of these girls were to one another. I especially felt bad for Gina who was the main target for not only some of the dancers but the mothers as well. At least in the OG dance moms the girls were supportive of one another and wouldn't get involved in the parents drama, and would certainly not talk back to adults. But that all seemed to change with this new show. A lot of the girls seemed fake to one another and I don't think anyone had a genuine friendship. Here are my takes on each of the girls and their moms Audrey&Tammy I feel that Audrey was one of the fakest and rudest of the girls on the team as soon as she felt threatened. I know they are a bunch of kids but I'm the same age as her and I can say that nobody I know my age acts the way she does. Audrey made a bunch of comments about how she can't do a back tuck and all this stuff. And in all honesty Gina never did anything rude to anyone on that team. She was targeted and made fun of especially by Audrey. There were a lot of times in the show were I couldn't tell if she was genuinely rude on purpose or it was just the producers making her say that stuff on purpose. I really hope it was the producers because if she actually acted that way I feel bad for whoever had to be on that show with her. Sometimes I liked Tammy and other times I didn't. At least she comforted Gina when her own daughter was coming after her. But regardless she got all mad for a mom calling her crazy when she said some pretty bad things to the other moms. I felt like she was the holly of the group for the girls. Ashlan&Lisa I definitely had a mix of opinions after watching this video. At first I thought Ashlyn was annoying and bratty and would cry if someone even touched her. But I never really thought of it from a medical perspective. I definitely think that her mom was not helping by not really knowing how to handle this kind of behavior. So now I do feel bad for her because her already have these issues (if she even does) was bad but being on this show made it 10x worse. She was a good dancer at times but she could be even better if she got help keeping her emotions in check. Mina&Min They definitely wanted us to feel like she was the strict parent on the show. Which is defining what she gave off at first but as the show went on I felt that she really wasn't just misunderstood. It's understandable why she would be like that after everything she went through. I just feel that she could be a little less harsh on Mina at times. I definitely feel that Mina is one of the better dancers of the group age aside. I can already imagine how great she is going to be when she is their age. Lilly&Corinne Not really much to say about these two. I didn't really see much of Lilly during the show. I think she should have had more opportunities and more solos. Not really a lot to show off her talent. Her mom really only started major drama in the first episode and some in the others but not nearly as much as the other girls. guys I cannot type anyone I have a lot more to say but I cannot-
You know what annoys me, Glo is making Audrey being the next Maddie like her we go, we don't need a 2nd Maddie. We already have Maddie. Also Maddie isn't that mean and show support to some of the dancers including the og (not sure she support Nia since we don't see any support Nia during season 5). About what I'm worried about Glo, her personality might change like Abby. Once she's gonna be on the show for a long time depends on there contract, Glo's personality will change and she will start screaming, yelling, and being mean to her student. I hope she doesn't.
10:47 if you watch Lily’s unaired solo and unaired duet with Bellatrix you’ll actually see that they set her up to look like and underdog despite being a really great dancer. Same with Smiley with the unaired duet she did with Audrey which beat Lily and Bellatrix’s. Personally I think they more didn’t air Lily’s dances because they wanted to push the idea that Glow punishes the kids for their mom’s actions, but she doesn’t actually do that (closest would be if she did actually remove Lily from the team because of how her mom acted at that one competition, but that didn’t even actually happen) and especially after that big fight between Glow and Lily’s mom I think they’re trying to set up a Brooke/Paige sort of storyline.
OK, no shade, but to be fair Other dance studios do dances about straight love too A lot of times . So I didn't See them new heartstopers A gay love story line a issue. But I really. love your video
Lily was not put on the show because of her mom, she is such a good dancer but for some reason they cut all her dances. They tried to paint her as a terrible dancer but Lily is VERY talented. And honestly her mom seemed very normal
1) because kids can be lesbians 2) they literally constantly danced in dresses, why is school skirts that actually look like they could be part of a uniform a problem? 😂
I fully agree about your Ashlan opinion. Whenever Ashlan cries, I feel like it's overstimulation. I'm someone with Anxiety, Autism and ADHD, I've had similar meltdowns like she did when I was her age. I hate when people moan about her outbursts like worry about your own kid...
You said that u didint like the girls were in skirts ? Or something now but in the og dance moms do you remember the school dance they did in fish nets skirts and a bra too and what they were 10 or something
Even Maddie and Chloe didn't bite each other's throats back in the day. Audrey needs to calm down; her true colors are showing.
Yeah, I saw that Audrey is acting like a brat but I'm wondering if the producer told her to act this way to think there will be rating of her being a brat.
@@ryulee1996 that’s what I thinking too because apparently she’s not the brat everyone claiming she is according to the people that are close to her

-I agreed with you with Audrey, I did like her at the beginning of the show but towards the end I kinda wanted to slap her... yes, the producers may have told her to treat gina that way so they could have more drama bc I know they did that a lot on the og show but I still thought that was rude and I really didn't lime that
-imo, I kinda agree with you about Ashlan maybe having a disorder but also maybe the producers told her to throw a tantrum or smith like that idrk however, I didn't like how they put her crying a lot in the show bc first, it was rlly annoying (no offense to Ashlan, this is more towards the producers) bc someone could've cried just as much but they only decided to put shots of her crying in. but I did think that she was also very bratty at times. dance wise, she doesn't have the best technique but its still pretty good but let me tell you (especially from the nationals dance) she has so much potential for acting
-personally I liked glo, she didn't call her kids nasty names like abby (but again abby could've been told by the producers to say those things) and I also think she has a healthy relationship with her students but she was kinda the same in every episode so I don't have much to say about her.
-at first I didn't like gina, I thought that it was rude to take away the spotlight from all of the kids who actually made the show (keep in mind this was the time when I still kinda liked Audrey) but then after seeing her dance, I don't know how she didn't make the show in the first place. I started to really like her and feel bad for her at the same time bc of the way the moms were treating her
overall the show was slightly better than I expected, I would give it a good 6.8/10 definitely not better than the og. personally I feel like they should've chose a different studio, studio bleu is good, however there are many other studios (Larkin, club, p21, CSPAS, Mather just to name a few) who are really good and produce amazing dancers technique and performance wise.
Do you know ashlan to speak like this what she has gone through?
I feel bad for Gina
I think Ashlan is also sensitive
i love u for defending ashlan
Idk how to explain tbh but I hope someone understands me 😅
Maybe it because of the better quality cameras
Yes the moms fighting they are crazy trying to be the original but their good and yes Glo is definitely the new Abby of this generation she is trying to be
@@Snowyowlshortts not the cameras 😂
@@PopCultureKing2009 exactly!!
Tbh the vibe I got from watching the show is that the cast isn’t trying to be like the old cast but the producers want them to be so their trying to edit them like it
In Dance Moms season 8, at nationals, they did a dance based on the Broadway musical, The Prom, which is about a lesbian couple.
I think Ashlyn is kind of spoiled mixed with some underlying issue her parents refuse to address. I actually felt really bad for her at first, but after all that crying lol I would have told her to get over it and start dancing
I think it could be an hsp(highly sensitive person)
As someone who won't be watching any of the drama but who *did* watch the dances and *did* check out some background on the girls just for context... Glo herself easily could've chosen Audrey as the favorite. Glo has coached Audrey for years and Audrey has already landed a professional job (she was in The Music Man Broadway)
it was said in the show that glo lives in audrey's and tammi's basement (idk if that was literal). The pair dont deserve to return to the next season but if this is true, it might be the case.
@@fandomencounter1672that’s weird
@@fandomencounter1672but Audrey is like Maddie and Tammi is Mellisa from the original
I really forgot about lily and Smiley lol I wanted to see more of them
one thing that makes me just uncomfortable is the girls NEVER, Like ever had problems with each other.
My teen dancer was so let down by this show that she didn’t even make it to episode 4 before rage quitting the show.
what's wrong with them doing a dance that tells a love story? the original dance moms did that whenever they brought in a boy.
because children shouldn’t be worried about relationships whether that’s straight or gay, not even for entertainment value through a dance. It’s inappropriate.
Homophobia, that's literally it and judging by the intro I'm not surprised but that's still disappointing opinion or not
@@midnightzxnethese kids (with the exception of Mina really) are entering puberty tho, they are going to have crushes and have cute relationships like the one shown
I think the producers have decided to edit Lily out or make her look boring for some reason because I saw her on Glos daughters vlog (while they’re filming by the way) and she has so much personality!
Here are my takes on each of the girls and their moms
Audrey&Tammy
I feel that Audrey was one of the fakest and rudest of the girls on the team as soon as she felt threatened.
Ashlan&Lisa
I definitely had a mix of opinions after watching this video.
Mina&Min
They definitely wanted us to feel like she was the strict parent on the show.
Lilly&Corinne
Not really much to say about these two. I didn't really see much of Lilly during the show. I think she should have had more opportunities and more solos. Not really a lot to show off her talent. Her mom really only started major drama in the first episode and some in the others but not nearly as much as the other girls.
guys I cannot type anyone I have a lot more to say but I cannot-
Literally agree wit everything you said
You know what annoys me, Glo is making Audrey being the next Maddie like her we go, we don't need a 2nd Maddie.
OK, no shade, but to be fair Other dance studios do dances about straight love too
A lot of times . So I didn't See them new heartstopers A gay love story line a issue. But I really.
love your video
i feel so bad for ashlan
That’s why Mina and Gina’s are going to be the fans favorite
11:44 who brought it up and what ep was it when they said it?
You said that u didint like the girls were in skirts ? Or something now but in the og dance moms do you remember the school dance they did in fish nets skirts and a bra too and what they were 10 or something
Tbh Ashlynn just took me as a kid with Anxiety. Just coming from a girl that grew up with anxiety.
Watching the old Dance Moms I noticed that Glo is on Season 3 episode 2. It just caught me off guard.😮
Same!
Where can you watch it
Disney +
So what did you mean by brining up someone being autistic and ashlan being emotional?
15:20 I’m sure you wouldn’t bw complaining If it was a straight love story ....
