I have never seen anything like this…I live in Canada and sport fished the Great Lakes all my life. This looks like a blast!
Well done Jamie. I don't think a lot of other anglers realise how much messing about there can be with the actual filming of fishing videos, especially during a live match. Changing batteries, SD cards and dealing with other glitches definitely soaks up time which could be used to catch more fish. Who knows if you could you have got closer to Andy Power in that time. Keep them coming mate.

Great insight on how you approach a commercial fishery such as a big fish venue as Larford lakes. Enjoyed it emencely Jamie. Keep up the great videos.

Brilliant venue and top angler. In the warmer months I only ever fish top two at Larford, and never had less than 200lb. Carp come to the feed in the margins from the off to avoid silvers intercepting the feed over the their heads, which happens if the deeper water. Method in cooler months

A great video showing us your insights into a match, Well done Jamie, a wonderful days fishing and second to “The Power” is a great achievement considering his track record at this level of fishing, I was surprised when you said you were using your brand new MTX4 I thought you might have used a 1 or 2 , at least you know and us mortals know the sections don’t explode with a lump on.

New to fishing,about 3 months now,started on a usual float,then went to method feeder,watching you and seeing all the matches on my local fisherie has me very intrigued about the pole
It's a lovely way of fishing :)
@@CatchFishingChannel would you recommend going straight to pole or using a whip to get used to it (saw a beginner's guide talking about it)

Well fished Jamie. 250Lbs is most anglers dream result especially in such illustrious Company. Nice to see you using the Long Carbon instead of the Short for a change. You need to do a bit more of this as you obviously have latent skills. 🤣👍

Anyways....good job on the fishing, finding your pole rollers and MTX4, and making one rig last the whole match. Catch 250lbs, take home a little less in beer / chippy tokens. Better than being stuck doing something mundane.

Catching farmed carp isn't fishing.
It's not for everyone but it was just something different for the channel mate
All carp introduced in the last thirty years have come fro a fish farm, it's just soe are held back till they suit each market! either for the match,club or commercial s,
