Definitely the most painful experience. Started dating at 19 in college and were together 18 years. I didn't grow up witnessing a loving, healthy relationship so I didn't know what it truly looked like. I 100% changed myself, disregarded my happiness to make him happy. He ended it and I had no clue. He was also cheating, but he honestly did me a favor. I probably wouldn't have left because I was determined to not be a failure like my parents. But, now I'm free to discover me and my true identity. I wasn't looking for a husband at 19 lol. I've been single 7 years and have only worked on myself. I'm so happy I took the time. I'm worth it. Now I know what a real man is and if he's not that, it's over. I'm putting my happiness first and that's never happened before. So some good came from pain. I learned the lesson ❤

I am so blessed to be loved unconditionally by my husband of 34 yrs who crossed over 10 yrs ago. He accepted me "worts" and all. I still feel his presence and love.

Jon, being Loved for exactly who we are, what we are, without changing to fit the mold.
This is the best insight I've come to understand this year.
This goes for any relationship, especially the ones we have with ourselves.
I am what, I am and that's what, "I am".
I've also been divorced 3 tymes..

Be yourself. Share your joys and passions. Well said. I’m happy doing me raising a young daughter through a failed relationship. Now a successful business owner. I envisioned success, believed in it❤️👍🏼 faith gives us power.

You've really made me think about my own relationships. The key is definitely to be your authentic self....but how muddied the waters can easily become!

We create our realities for the contrasting experience....it's all part of the great expansion. X

interesting perspective Though I question your use of "the great expansion" sounds like another label added to something simple.

The great expansion being the growth of all that is, the one. To know the light we experience the dark, the veil is our dimmer switch....God is having it's experiences...lol....it is simple.

Married once at 23. Divorced because I married for the wrong reasons. Been with my partner since 1986. I think that contract of marriage makes you stay when your heart tells you to leave.

Her father wanted someone else to take over the responsibility of looking after her.
    Marriage seems so ridiculous.

I heard another vlogger say that all the other animals on the planet get to just be what they are and do what they do while humans think about why they do everything and what they're doing here.
