I ran the corded version of this in the early 90's it's a beast. Love the brake. And no cord!!!! We were doing large timber fences, 190mm square posts. Almost cut through. Mark
Makita makes the best saw blades hands down, I got the Makita HS001 imported from Japan based off your recommendation and it’s amazing! I love the dual speed mode.
@@ToolsAndStuffOFFICIAL Dude, I'm wating for your new video. Don't need production masterpiece. Just Interesting stuff only you can say would be very appreciated.. But no Pressure. 😅😅
I think i'd wear those chainsaw safety pants if I had to use that. I was wincing just watching you cut and seeing that giant blade with the guard fully pulled away as you finished cuts and realizing how fast that could fall back toward you. 😬 Awesome video as always! I have so many makita tools, I wish i could justify getting that too, but that would be a tough sell.
I'm with ya on rarely using the standard 7.25"/165mm, even then it's a blade left rear handle. GOOD GOD MAN! LOOK AT THE SIZE OF THAT THING! I'd rarely if ever us that beast, but I want one!
That jerk when the brake finally engages fully and halts the blade's momentum... dear god that's some rotating mass right there. What is the selection of blades like at this size?
Besides home owners who might get one these are gonna end up on every construction site and saw mill in the world lol...makita come on with the different amp f batteries..!!!!
The previous big one kinda tried to look like a Mafell saw, fitting on tracks and retractable guard with a leaver, but this one doesn't unfortunately (except for the blade stabiliser). We mainly use the 185 mm depth of cut saw since 160mm is too little and we rip a lot so cord makes more sense for us (cus this saw and ripping sounded just sad, the mafell goes through dry 18cm thick oak without any problem). But this for a few cuts is not too bad.
@@ToolsAndStuffOFFICIAL I've got over a $1,000 in their batteries, probably over 20 of their tools, and they all run at 18v. Though some take two 18v batteries. Their 18v batteries are the norm. For ANYBODY to pretend not to know this is being disingenuous at best. What's your angle?

Wow such a nice tool, too bad you can't keep it right 😁 Awesome, been waiting for this one, thanks!

We need this new spin test on all the circular saws in the future!
Tools, Always fun to see you with the way out tools.
Got another way out one sitting on the filming bench right now.

Try the fluorine coated blades if you haven't already, they cut beautifully and last a lot longer.
Just need someone to figure out a way to turn it into a table saw
Ouch I'm sure that someone already thought of that idea, not sure how smart it would be 😁
Oh yeah, cheers for that...

They should change the base so it can run on their guide rails
I bought a corded one and almost did it. Decided against as its so scary and big
I've run the corded version of this saw, it's a hell of a tool.
Welcome back mate🎉🎉.
Hope you had a good break.
This thing is glorious
Welcome back, tools! But 40min?? Dude!
I tried to keep it to 15mins... I failed.
@@ToolsAndStuffOFFICIAL no complaints. This beast needs long praise.

I might need to change my health insurance . If I ever buy that 415 mm circular saw
I think my favorite part of all of this was your rocket that says "ASS" on it.
∅415 внушительные размеры.

7.25"/185mm
A makita tool that makes the 8ah battery look relatively small.
I've got another new one sitting on my bench that does the same thing.

Loving those safety sliders😂

I've only seen 35 and 50th so far, but I haven't actually looked yet.
Your hands look tiny when you hold this saw. WOW!
MONSTER 😱💪💪💪
Boooom back of the net!! Tools is back!!!! Great video!! This saw looks scary as fuck!!!!
This is insane, I thought my 235mm saw was a beast 😂
this is amazing! kinda strange though thats its not 80v? am i wrong?

That's just so aggressively big..
Would ya just look at it. So cool lol
I’d ride this bad boy to work each day
U got any info on new makita cordless finish nailers
Yes.
This thing has 'commically large spoon' energy
Unreal
I have no need for this beast but by golly I want one.

What’s the model number of the Japan 165mm saw
ruclips.net/video/OtL64UvvgaQ/видео.html
Would love it if it could cut massive angles! Like 70 degrees
It’s kinda pointless with smaller saws as the depth is minimal, but with that saw
Oh my, what small hands you have...
Should be released in the states sometime in 2027😂😂😂
This should have been 40v x 2
I think that saw should have been 80 volt, two 40 volt batteries
🎵 The first cut is the deepest 🎵 depending on how you have your saw set up.....

Yoooo... 😮❤
I bet the blades cost a fortune
They are actually cheaper than the Makita blades I use on my 305mm Mitre saw.
the battery unbalances the saw making it stop spinning early
I hope your wearing a mask
