    Just did mine myself, your video helped a lot, but man it was sure a pain in the ass. The first one took 1hr, second one maybe 30min 😂. My wife and I feel like we are experienced a better, softer ride quality since I’ve installed it. I also went with the Tuff Country 2in instead of the Rough Country.

    How do you rotate it to get the spacer to fit in ?

  • @michaelpanella2880
    @michaelpanella2880 5 лет назад +1

    Did you need a strut compressor to move the top of the strut 180? I’m about to tackle the pro-comp kit, and I heard you may need one.

      heators954 unbolt the one bolt at the bottom, rotate entire assembly as a unit. Coils are not removed on this install. The spacer bolts to the top of the complete assembly.

    Did I understand correctly that you had to spin the shock 180?

      David Chambers yes. The spacer bolts to the strut in ofset holes from how the spacer bolts to the strut tower. See the spacer at 9:20 for a visual.

    What's the point of a leveling kit again? (I have a 2017 gas titan)

    • @deionnpcfit
      @deionnpcfit 6 лет назад

      Mitchell Mackenzie make the truck level front to back. Kit comes with 1.5" spacers for the back. But I dont want to lift my truck. Just level. Airbags installed yesterday. Video coming on that shortly.

    • @deionnpcfit

      Mitchell Mackenzie I tow a lot too. That's why I removed it. I'm all about efficiency and gas mileage. With the front I'd want bigger tires to make it look better. And that's more mpgs. Hope this video helps those that install tho. Thanks for watching.

      Deion Clark why you remove them

    • @deionnpcfit
      @deionnpcfit 5 лет назад

      Realized that a leveling kit is essentially just compressing your shock. So ride and efficiency are sacrificed for looks. Its a work truck only so I wanted it to be as efficient as possible. Now I just have air bags in the back. So its level when towing and has a dream ride.
