Great bag. Could see this for business travel. Often I need to take a day bag around while in market and emptying my travel bag every time is super annoying. I could see the 35L, 15L and a roller luggage work well for a 3 day business trip. Big guys have bigger clothes and so size and durability is huge for me.
Hey, thank you very much for this review. The new Pakt has an excellent design and seems to be functional. And too expensive. Despite that I do not like zippers I can not lock up. For a 35L or 45L I do expect that. What I am surprised about is what they do with the word mark "Pakt". White on black and on blue, etc. - it looks cheap. I definitely prefer the "old" version of the Pakt Packpack.
This bag looks great; I love the ability to tuck a smaller "EDC" bag into it. I'd use something like this for my CamelBak daypak when on trips. I usually travel with a larger sized carry-on suitcase, plus a backpack. I'm curious if something like the Pakt in the video would be overkill with something like the Away "Bigger" Carryon? Also I did not realize bags of this caliber were so expensive....
Was waiting for this review and other ones yet to come for this new V2 Travel Bag Combo. Very well done and thanks for the various call-outs too. Now I am even more excited for my pre-order to arrive so that I can get travelling with it. I do wonder your thoughts on the harness that attaches with carabiners at the bottom-are they sturdy? I can’t think of another backpack that uses that sort of thing.
Thank you for watching and I’m glad the video was helpful! That’s great you have one coming your way, I hope you enjoy using it as much as I have! Regarding the clips, I have seen this on a variety of travel bags that allow you to hide the straps away, it’s not my favorite system but I haven’t run into any durability issues with the bags I have tried out
I bought the 35L Pakt travel backpack which was already expensive so not sure about getting the 15L too, or trying to find a cheaper alternative that would fit. One thing I would want to know if I did get the Pakt 15L is if it still fits inside of the 35L bag when packed out. Also could you recommend a cheaper bag that would fit in the same Pakt backpack? It would be cool in the video to see if you trying to fit other bags in there especially ones that you had packed with like a sweatshirt or something bulky.
Great Video AS USUAL Danny - I do like the 35L - but ALSO like the Day pack. Would you still prefer the AER GO for everyday carry/Packable IF you would be using the 35L? - I LOVE the idea of being able to simply drop the 15L (with all my EDC) into the larger bag (without unpacking them) if for example I need to go to my kids swim meet and need more space. I do not travel much yet but hoping to in the future (more weekend trips) - but I love the concept/modularity. I am also more of a messenger style person for Everyday - but I like the using only 1 strap on the 15L. Please share your thoughts…. I am unfortunately a bag snob/goldilocks bag user :) -- Thank you!
It's nearly perfect. I have V1 of this bag I appreciate the small improvements they've made on V2, but they lost me on the more rounded style and exposed zippers on the front. I'll wait for V3!
Looked to get the 15l sent to Ireland from Pakt… 183 Euros for the bag, 106 Euros shipping TOTAL 289 Euros for a 15 litre bag. Sorry, but that is crazy!
What are the dimensions of the main bag, and the daily bag?? Thinking of getting this and maybe using a hiking/hydration bag in place of the daily. Awesome review btw
It does seem a bit pricey. Nevertheless I ordered one…because I found on a recent trip that my much smaller sling just wasn’t large enough while the Aer Go 2, which I also have, was at times too large. So I think the day back hits a sweet spot for me. I do see myself having to evaluate my needs for any given trip I will take-at times I can easily see myself bringing the Go 2. Whereas other trips I would plan to bring the new day pack.
In case anyone was wondering the differences in size is 3 centimeters with of course Aer Go 2 being larger. BUT, the Aer Go 2 is also lighter by 0.3 lbs so something to consider if weight is a factor
@@spence7 Admittedly I did take note of that too. If weight matters and size matters, the Aer Go 2 may be the choice. For mine own use case, I could easily see myself alternating between both depending on trip type.
Going to reply to myself on this one...my package arrived today. Does appear that the new MBP's (M1 Pro is what I have) are a bit tight in the 15L Daily/Sling bag. Mine has a protective plastic case...so that could make the difference. So something to note. And for that reason, there may be more instances where I would opt for the Aer Go2. Now, with a smaller machine that point becomes moot.
A great duo bag choice but with shipping and taxes to the UK it came to nearly £500 and that’s with the discount for first time buyer. It’s in my inbox ready to go but I’m not certain I can’t get another bag for a lot less. If I was a US resident it would be a no brainier.
Does the extra 10L from the Expandable pocket make it 35L or closer to 45L when all packed out? Just curious if the 35L advertised is when the pack is fully packed out or not? Torn between getting the 35L or the 45L bag.
Thank you for watching and good question! This one is a little trickier to tell with given the layout of the bag, but To me it felt like the bag could hold about 35l without expanding and then the expansion added to the 35
i observed that , at one time or another in the road to channel growth, the youtubers that begin to be influencers, start to have more and more expensive tastes, pushing merch that is out of the reach of the majority of the audience that came for "tricks to save"
Thank you for watching! I think it depends on the airline and how tightly you pack it out, if you fully pack and expand I don’t think it will qualify on most airlines but if it’s not as full it might fit under the seat on some of the larger airlines
Thank you for watching! There are definitely a good amount of zippers, they provide alot of easy access to different areas of the bag, but there is a trade off on weight / extra stuff on the bag
I really appreciate your section at the end that discusses alternatives on the market.
Thank you for watching and for the support! I’m glad that portion of the video is helpful!

Thank you for watching and that definitely sounds like a solid setup!
Thanks for taking a look, Danny! I've also been influenced to get a table with a lazy susan, if only for bag content.
Thank you for watching and awesome job on the bag! The lazy susan has definitely been clutch for videos!:)
So is there any reason your 15L is 185 dollars? It’s crazy expensive for such a basic bag
Great job Danny! Can’t wait for mine to arrive!! 👊🏻
Thank you JB! Looking forward to seeing what you think!

$185 for the day bag?!? I’ll take an Aer Go 2, thank you 🙂

Agree! Insanely overpriced.

$185 for the 15L bag is nuts. Why is it so expensive???
I would assume because it's not assembled in a factory with kids working.
Probably made in Vietnam just like every other bag manufacturer
Because there are some stupid people thag will still buy it
@@Duubly💀
@@DuublyYup… it comes from Vietnam. They have a great history of child rights.
will the pakt everyday 22l fit in the same spot with the 45l travel bag? Love the idea, just hate the straps on the 15l.
Great question, I prefer the 22l too and want to kn ow would it fit into the 35/ - Danny?? Great review BTW
great review!!! Thanks
Thank you for watching and I’m glad the video was helpful!:)
I've seen a lot of reviews and still can't decide between the 35L and 45L

Ridiculous… 290 Euros for the 15 litre version to get to Ireland. I can buy the Day PAck 3 X-PAC from AER and save 100 Euros

@@dannypacks, based on Pakt, they said the 35l is 32l unexpanded and 42l expanded. The 45l is 41l unexpanded and 53l expanded
Thank you!
Thank you for watching and I’m glad the video was helpful!:)
Can a luggage passthrough be easily attached?
Both are great looking and functioning bags... 465$ CND .... not a chance
Thank you for watching and fair point! Although these are awesome bags the investment is high
Will the AER City Pack Pro fit in the expansion pocket?
Thank you for watching! Unfortunately that’s probably going to be a little too bulky, a better fit would be something like the aer go pack 2
Is it 35 L WITH the expansion? I tend to over pack and want a 35 L bag to help me control the weight , not to add 10L
Thank you for watching! I would say it’s 35l + expansion
i observed that , at one time or another in the road to channel growth, the youtubers that begin to be influencers, start to have more and more expensive tastes, pushing merch that is out of the reach of the majority of the audience that came for "tricks to save"
Do you think the 35l is small enough to be a personal item on a plane?
Depends on the airline/aircraft
If it fits under the seat in front of you, then it's a personal item
Thank you for watching! I think it depends on the airline and how tightly you pack it out, if you fully pack and expand I don’t think it will qualify on most airlines but if it’s not as full it might fit under the seat on some of the larger airlines
personally really hate the suit case split layout, which takes away a lot of flexibility of having a larger travel bag. otherwise great bag.
The suitcase split layout is what I love ❤ I can find things so easily.
Thank you for watching and I can definitely see how that layout is not for everyone!
How much
This backpack is literally perfect, I just wish I wasnt broke lmao. Its so expensive.
Thank you for watching and I agree, awesome bag overall but definitely not cheap!
310€, its insane. Wouldnt be a problem for me but i dont know, feels a little bit much for just a backpack
A Travel bag more expensive than your flight.
How much $ 😂😂😂😂😂
That's a lot of zippers on the big backpack
Thank you for watching! There are definitely a good amount of zippers, they provide alot of easy access to different areas of the bag, but there is a trade off on weight / extra stuff on the bag
