I would like to see a video on swapping sides of the safety, I’ve already swapped the cocking lever to the right and would like to have the safety on the same side, thanks
@@AirMaksarmsUK Torx are fitted to the cheek piece adjusting screws, the large side plate under the cheek piece and the plates either side above the cocking lever. There may be more, but I haven't deep stripped the gun.
@@56Gumball Hi Bill, we have Torx on the same places except the cheek piece adjuster, the side plates and ones near cocking handle are fixings so Torx is used, unusual about the cheek piece adjuster tho
Exhaust Valve tensioner, increasing it will shorten the time that the valve is open per shot, by default they leave the factory at minimum tension, mostly used for fine tuning things
Hello, i have the same KRAIT, but my arm has a problem with the regulador. I don't know why my regulator is not analogic but is the same KRAIT. Can You help me with something? please.
Hi, I am not sure what you mean by this, the single shot loader simply slides into the breech like the multishot magazine does, the only issue I can potentially see if you were trying to use an older Katran version instead of the newer Krait and Katran version as the older ones are not compatible with Krait rifles
Not by default, we have a valve kit accessory available to make it detachable which comes with 1 rifle mount and two bottle valves so you can hot swap bottles in the field
Hi Chris, great video. I’m waiting to take delivery of the Krait L from Range and Country. I intend fitting it with an Arken Zulus night vision scope. Can you tell me if the Krait’s scope rail can be easily reversed (fitted back to front)? I’m thinking that it’s built in 20 MOA coupled with the Zulus’ 30 MOA will be too much to correctly center the reticle.
Hi, this is an old video, the instructions only relate to original design regulators, younger guns with Huma Regs are opposite direction, I recommend watching my newer video about tuning these
Transfer ports are specific to calibre and barrel length, for example a sub 12 .177 Krait needs a much larger one than a .22 Krait L and there are multiple lengths, calibres and power output options, each with a slightly different size
Hello im waiting for my kriatt l first week of 2025 is this video still relevant has the regulator changed from this video thanks in advance for any reply
Hello, the regulator is now different and the adjustment direction is reverse to this style, the companion video I have made "how to tune your krait" or a similar name highlights the different types, all other elements such as valve and hammer etc are the same, there have been several progressive updates to the rifles over the last 2 years such as plenum volume reduction, valve output size optimisation etc but most changes are below the surface and invisibly enhance the rifles operation without user intervention, there is a change to the trigger adjustment in that an additional length of travel adjustment has been introduced into the rod which is a nice upgrade
No that was just a temporary fitment to illustrate the change in pressure as small changes would not show up on camera very well using the analogue gauge, I personally dont rate those particular gauges as the display is too slow
Hi Simon, that is a chinese copy/oem of the huma one, its not a bad bit of kit in some ways but the refresh rate of the screen is pretty slow, when you take a shot it will drop down over 3 or 4 screen changes, then go back up over a few screen changes, the reality is that the reg has finished cycling long before the screen finishes displaying, handy if you want to set a really specific pressure like 52 bar, but afterwards.... just kind of chunky gimmick
Thanks Chris this is a welcome instruction video 👍
Cheers Tom
Great informative video Chris
Omg I can’t give Chris a much better name! This man has sorted my katran out for myself honestly 1 in a million!!!

Thank you for your video brother, I will make one in Spanish for my Latino friends, thank you very much
Your welcome! I have corrected the english subtitles, perhaps there is a way to add spanish ones?
Some of the small screws are Torx fittings on the latest Kraits, not Allen keys.
To my knowledge the only Torx bolts used are for fixings not adjusters, such as the side plate, which adjusters do you have with Torx?

My pleasure!
How do you remove and separate the baffles?
Thanks for sharing
Thanks for watching!
Thanks Chris.
Sorry it took soo long to get it up
Fantastic!!
what is that valve adjustment near the trigger linkage?

I can certainly try to help, what seems to be the problem?
can you show us a video on how to install the single shot magazine pls. i already ruined one .

To increase pressure is clockwise and decrease pressure is counter clockwise , correct ?

@cdrguns thanks that's what I thought just got a new 25 cal Krait X slug edition from Utah airguns👍

@CDRGuns thanks so much Chris, is the gauge thread metric or imperial?
@@better-than-some standard 1/8th BSP, you will need a dowty at the top or to transfer the seal from the original gauge but fitment is a doddle
