It was my 17th marathon and absolutely one of the best I have done.

Did it last year as my first. Although at the time I didn’t achieve what I wanted, I was amazed at the level of the organization, the course, and most of all the support on the streets.
In the meantime my focused as changed away from the Marathon distance, but as I had signed up a year ago I went anyways at an easier pace and just had the time of my life. The support on the streets is like anything you could experience anywhere. The last 4km are packed with people cheering you. And the blue carpet just gives you goosebumps.
I’d recommend it 10/10 for anyone willing to either go for a PB, or just have an amazing time.

We couldn't agree more! If you are going for a fast time or a 'good time' it seemed to tick all the boxes! Glad you enjoyed it and good luck with your next running goals.

Thanks for the video. I am running it this year. Do they usually use water bottles versus cups at the aid stations? And it seems like the race clocks on the course do 5k splits?

Yes, the bottles meant that you could hold and run with the water for longer if needed, sometimes getting water into your mouth from a cup while running can be a challenge, bottles are far easier to consume in my opinion.
You get all the data from the splits yes for every 5k and half way.
If you can get to the Expo on the Friday to avoid the huge Saturday Expo queue then it's highly recommended! We had no queue at all on the Friday but Saturday was the biggest line I've ever seen at a marathon.
