So review a garbage beats product and then two JBLs... These are the best of 2025? Are you kidding me? I'll agree the JBL is a solid budget option. It's pretty much my go to company for under $100. But no one considers the beats pro a good option. They sell based on name rec. They only support AAC and SBC codecs. The best choice for premium audio quality is, simply, the Sennheiser Momentum 4, which has better BT codec support (aptx), supports 3.5mm wired and USBC, and 60 hours battery life WITH ANC ON. They can be picked up on a really good sale sometimes for as low as the beats "studio pro" MSRP, otherwise MSRP 399, but if your smart you'll never pay MSRP for them. The beats studio pro are in a weird place, they aren't high enough quality to play with the big boys of over ear BT flagships, Sony XM5, Bose Ultra QC, Sennheiser Momentum 4, or Airpod Maxes. The Beats Studio Pro occupy a liminal space where they aren't really good enough to run with the flagships, and aren't cheap enough to justify buying them instead, since usually a flagship can be found near that price point on a good sale, open box, or refurbished. I wouldn't recommend them to anybody. But kudos on JBL, and generally agree.
Thank you for sharing your detailed insights! I really appreciate the time you took to provide such a thorough breakdown of your thoughts on the headphones. You bring up some great points about the Sennheiser Momentum 4-they're indeed fantastic headphones, and their features like aptX codec support, 60-hour battery life, and wired options definitely make them a standout choice for premium audio quality. It’s clear you’re very knowledgeable and passionate about audio gear, and I love seeing that! Regarding the Beats Studio Pro, I completely understand your perspective. They do tend to divide opinion, and their strengths often appeal to a specific audience, particularly those who value design, brand familiarity, and ease of use. That said, I agree that in terms of advanced features and value for money, there are other options worth considering, especially at higher price points. I featured them alongside JBL to highlight what’s trending and popular in 2025, and while Beats aren’t always the first pick for audiophile-grade sound, they remain a well-recognized brand for a wide audience. The JBL options were included to represent solid budget-friendly picks. Since headphones like the Momentum 4 and Sony XM5 are in a more premium price range, I’d be happy to do a dedicated review of high-end flagship models in the future if that’s something you’d like to see! Let me know, and I’d love to dive deeper into those options. Thanks again for sharing your thoughts-feedback like yours really helps make the discussion richer for everyone! 😊
@AmazonAceReviews101 I apologize for being harsh. I test for functionality and performance numerous consumer grade audio manufacturers products, and have never been overly thrilled with beats. The best thing about them is Applecare+, and apples overall support network, which is just not possible for any other brand to match, outside of *maybe* Sony or Samsung, and it's been a minute since I've seen a Sony store. This is one place where I cannot fault someone for a purchase of a beats product. If I have an issue with pairing my Sennheiser or Sony products, there isn't a store I can go that offers, generally, free end user in person support. Granted if your going to the Apple store with an Android paired to your beats, they might send you to one of their AASPs. I'm not at all fond of either JBLs or Beats Android apps. For content, there's a pretty good war brewing between the phone flagships, Buds3 pro vs Pixel buds pro 2 vs Airpod Pro 2/3, and their value IEH/Ms. There are some lesser knowns in the android field as well (Nord buds come to mind).
@@LMYS5697 No need to apologize-I really appreciate your insights! You make a great point about AppleCare+ and the unmatched support network for Beats, which can be a huge advantage for many users. I also agree that both Beats and JBL apps on Android leave room for improvement. Your suggestion about covering the flagship earbud competition-Buds3 Pro, Pixel Buds Pro 2, AirPods Pro 2/3, and even options like Nord Buds-is fantastic. It’s a hot topic and definitely something I’ll consider for future content. Thanks again for your thoughtful comments-it’s always great to hear from someone with your expertise! 😊
