Zig Zag Walking/Recall Game

This walking/recall game enhances your dog's focus by encouraging them to come to find you and earn reinforcement.
- Start with your dog walking beside you, either on or off lead.
- When your dog is next to you and paying attention, mark the behaviour with a 'Yes' or click.
- Toss a treat out in front of you for your dog to retrieve.
- As your dog goes to get the treat, change your direction by approximately 45˚ (Zig) and walk away.
- When your dog comes to find you, mark with a 'Yes' or click and toss another treat out in front of them.
- Now, change your direction by around 45˚ (Zag) in the opposite direction.
- Continue to move behind your dog, alternating the side on which they come to find you.
