    Hi, I designed a scalable cap graphic using the redbubble dimensions and it’s definitely a better result than other caps where I used designs dimensioned for tshirts. BUT the reason I did that was because I’d watched your fantastic video on designing for MUGS and that completely changed the way I thought about mug design. Now my mugs absolutely stand out in the search feed and are a much better product for a buyer. Your tutoring is invaluable. B : ))

    Hi Juna. I was only two months on Redbubble and at first I didn't know what designs to come up with. But then I saw your channel in the recommendations. And now I always have some ideas. Your column on popular niches of the week helps a lot. I try to create designs that fit as many products as possible. These are not only texts, but also drawings. Sometimes I also paint an abstract picture on paper, then scan it in high resolution, and then use it as a print. For example, I put it on the text. Of course, so far I only have 56 designs and no sales, but I hope for the best and your advice is very helpful. You are a cool designer and master of your craft. I'm sorry for my English, I'm from Russia. By the way, on-demand printing is also popular here, but mainly it is printing on t-shirts, mugs, pillows and phone cases.

    hi Juna & all, I actually just started on RB and still have not had any sales yet but am learning so much so far... in the beginning I just used the same design for everything, but I made the "hat-specific" design for my latest design, and I am thrilled to see how well it fits! Now I will do that for the next designs, and I might even go back to make "hat variation" on my previous designs. Thanks Juna for the tip on how to find the optimum size - that is really neat!

    Do you have any idea how wide the pixels should be as a minimum before they start getting messed up on the hat. Another great video, thanks!

    • @DetourShirts
      @DetourShirts  3 года назад +2

      Nothing smaller than 10px wide... I would do 20px just to be safe.

    is it safe to use a gradient on designs? How is the product quality? for all products.
    I saw a youtube video of someone ordering a T-shirt of a famous design on Redbubble and the quality was much less than expected.

    Thank you Juna for another great tutorial! 💜 just one question- I didn’t really understand how to creat gradient color on letters/objects… can you make a video on that? Thank you 😊

    • @DetourShirts
      @DetourShirts  3 года назад +2

      Great suggestion! You basically select the object or objects and use the gradient tool... then pick the colors... I'll make a video

    Hello. Can you help he please? how do i upload my art there to sell it as wall art? i can't find this function

    • @DetourShirts
      @DetourShirts  3 года назад +2

      So there are different types of wall art but you can find them under the product category of Prints, Card & Posters. You will have do enable them when you upload your design....you might also be interested in Wood & Canvas Mounted Prints too. The mounted prints can be a little smaller.

    • @simplelivingsimplyloving3080
      @simplelivingsimplyloving3080 3 года назад +1

      The size of the design has to be quite big, right? Otherwise when it is printed we may lose resolution.

    I don't wear hats. Just wondering, do patterns work on them? I mean would someone wear patterns on hats? Thanks

    • @DetourShirts
      @DetourShirts  3 года назад +2

      I personally don't thing patterns on a hat would do well in that little space... if it was an all over print that might be different

    Great video as usual. I like to ask you regarding the dimensions. If I use the Redbubble dimensions, can I scale my design edge to edge? I was always avoiding doing that out of fear of being cut off while printing. I'm not just talking about hats, all products in general. Is it safe to make the design edge to edge?

    • @DetourShirts
      @DetourShirts  3 года назад +2

      Yes you can! You will see preview of the design on the different products when you upload the design, so if it is too big you can scale it down. There is no harm in going edge to edge

    • @simplelivingsimplyloving3080
      @simplelivingsimplyloving3080 3 года назад

      Except for the cards, where we cannot scale the design, Juna is right, we can adjust the size of our designs on the products within Redbubble uploader
