This is the OG way weaves were done. Back in the late 70s/80s hair didn't come on a weft. It had to be braided/knoted in. Whitney's "How Will I Know," Janet's Control Era, and Jody Watley's hair was done this exact same way.

I use to get that years ago, your hair will be thinner where the bands are placed. You must maintain the bi-weekly maintenance, and still there will be thinning but not as bad. ❤
