So excited for this one! My level 16 party just left the Demi plane of shadow after a grueling gauntlet.
Earlier on the plot had a very important dragon trapped by an eldritch force in the shadowfell. They went to an androsphinx who didn’t think they were strong enough and teleported them to the abyss (yeenoghu’s layer) where they fought demons and ghouls, but oddly no gnolls, struck a deal with a demon for planar passage, took a ferry across the abyssal sea, diverted course after taking an aboleth’s deal going into and through the lair of Demogorgon, going all the way down his spires until reaching Dagon, where they passed out and the aboleth carried them into a hospital in the plane of water, from the plane of water they came into audience with the goddess of the sea to break the warlocks unwitting pact with a different aboleth, before the goddess sent them to the shadowfell to make find and rescue the dragon.
They were dropped far away and needed to do a very long, draining, and dark march across the Demi plane of shadow facing foes much stronger than them and dark politics. The fought off a CR 20 Bone Lord, a small army of Star Spawn, and then at the very end, just last session, used a wish spell (luck sword) to defeat a CR 23 ancient shadow dragon that was guarding the important dragon! (Technically the same dragon but that goes into the time apocalypse going on and everything) and finally rescued her! From there, the shadows manifested the Mausoleum of Chronepsis where they entered, had a brief chat with the draconic god of death, and were allowed departure where they were transported to the outlands on exit! The androsphynx who sent them to the abyss right outside. Finally color and light and excitement instead of despair. The plans for future is for the sphinx to grant them a hero’s feast picnic in heaven (Elysium)!

Excellent video. My party is currently trapped in the Feywild, but there are dark forces linked to the Shadowfell who want them to be permanently trapped there. Very good, inspiring video.

Just found your channel, great video man. If i could make a recommendation, look into getting a deesser plugin for your recording software. Cutting the sharp S sounds down a bit would improve your narration quite a bit imo,

Im just curious i very much enjoy the lore of DND but haven't even rolled a d20 before would you ever consider maybe making videos of some of the playable classes/archetypes/etc im not sure the appropriate name for like playable charactors like warloco barbarian & such. The vast array of customization is a little overwhelming for me as someone whos never played and i would like to soon hopefully but would like to skip the part where i hassle everyone or impede gameplay with my lack of mechanics and knowledge of the playing aspect of DND.
If you don't feel like that type of video is something you'd like to do could someone point me to a channel that has that sort of content?? I really really wanna play and get to make my first character and play my first sessions, but i dont want to bother others who are allowing me to have that experience with also feeling obligated to break their immersion or stop gameplay to explain things to me.
I would very much appreciate it, thank you in advance. Also thank you for another brief respite for me. Just for a little i get to be somewhere else when i close my eyes and imagine the world and places you describe. Its a blessing.

Also your intensely immersive descriptive narration makes every single one of your videos a place so easy to just close my eyes and disappear to. In my opinion I find your way of describing things similar to Tolkien. The way he describes the shire I can literally close my eyes and picture it ( if narrated obviously when I don't have to read with my very much open eyes lol) and listening to your videos i can do the same. That's a big compliment & I mean it genuinely, content creation can become taxing even when you're passionate about the thing you're creating content of/about. but please continue doing what you're doing, i feel you are doing something very significant for others. Fantasy is a genre idea or thing where everyone can easily come to enjoy if they shrug off stereotypes or preconceptions and find their version of it. Some like Star wars, some like LoTR, some like dune, etc. they may be put into other genres but I think they can still be called fantasy .fantasy to me is just creating a different world than the one we inhabit. Imagination is important, creating is important, people who help others step into those created worlds, stories & places are important. I feel like without those sort of things, what's the point of it all? Throughout our history before a computer or phone or even a lightbulb our storytellers were one of the most important people in your tribe. You are an incredible storyteller. That's a very important thing for us to have even today with our lightbulbs and computers and Internet.
I don't mean to write you an essay but just honestly and genuinely let you know what your videos can be for me and thousands of others, maybe to lesser extents than me, but still.

Thanks for all the kind words! I do have plans to incorporate the lore of each class and how they fit into the world. It’s a little down the line but the next poll I’ll put up one of the most used classes and if the scribes want to see it then I’ll make it sooner than I planned.
