i always loved the mickey and minnie part of once upon a christmas when i was a kid, i later found out that it was based on an actual story called gift of the magi. i don't know exactly what happens in that one but mickey and minnie's relationship is so sweet that it's my favorite.
I agree, I absolutely love mickey's once upon a Christmas, I've watched that ever since i was a kid, and it just makes me tear up every time. Just beautiful
Awww Brian wish I could hug you when you talked about your favorite Disney holiday movie. Wishing you and your loved ones a blessed and Merry Christmas. Love from Oregon! 🎄🎅🎁 P.S. my favorite holiday movie is The Bishop's Wife starring Carey Grant, Loretta Young and David Niven (White Christmas and It's a Wonderful Life are a close second and third). For Disney though my favorite is Mickey's Christmas Carol. The muppet one is cute too. 🎶It's in the singing of a street corner choir..it's going home and getting warm by the fire..it's true wherever you find love, it feels like Christmas....🎶
Mickeys Once Upon a Christmas is definitely one of my top favorite disney christmas movies ever since I was a little girl I could not go through Christmas without watching it 💞 it's up there next to my #1 top favorite Beauty and the Beast The Enchanted Christmas
I like the Muppets Christmas Carol. I respect your choice of Mickey's Christmas Carol but I love the Muppets. My speech! Here's my Christmas speech. Ahem. "Thank you all, and Merry Christmas."
I think Mickey's Twice Upon a Christmas isn't so bad 😂 The animation is VERY outdated, yes, but the stories are fine! Huey, Louie and Dewey trying to get on Santa's list is a fun one lol, and Max being embarrassed by how Goofy behaves in front of his gf is oddly relatable
I honestly enjoyed it as a kid, but I watched it again a few years ago and it did not age well. At all. Not only is the animation unappealing to look at, but the whole thing is consumed and corrupted by the over-commercialization of Christmas. A lot of the characters, ESPECIALLY Mickey, do things in it that are really hateful and out-of-character for them. It just leaves a bad taste in my mouth looking back on it.
My favourite Disney Christmas Special is Last Christmas from the 2017 Ducktales series, it's got such a beautiful story about Dewey meeting his mom and uncle during they're childhood and references to Mickeys Christmas Carol
I love mickeys twice upon a christmas the most however mickeys once upon a christmas is still really good and christmas does not start for me unless I watch both of these.
this is so tinsel! (I couldn't resist to type that Brian!) and I knew I wasn't the only one who liked prep & landing , mickey's christmas carol is really cute, and mickey's once upon of christmas I love that special! it's so sweet! and honey same I will cry too! my mom and my dad loves the santa claus (the first one you mentioned) my mom also likes the jim carrey's christmas carol I do enjoy them as well boy yaas Klaus was so good,me and my mom just got done watching it and we really liked it , I can see why people have been talking about it so much but they were saying good things about it
the top 2 of your list is my favorites also i love them so much i have even dvd of the mickeys christmas carol and the mickey´s upon a christmas, i can watch it so many times on christmas and still feel warmth and joy from them
I got to say that my favorite is "Mickey's Christmas Carol"-it's the best telling of this old but classic tale with classic (and obscure) but lovable characters with beautiful animation to boot.
Every time I watch Mickey's Once Upon a Christmas, I am always grateful that I grew up with these characters. They get a lot of love already, but they deserve to keep getting that love, especially the Winnie the Pooh characters too.
Hey, Brian! You probably won’t see this, but I love your work and impressions! I don’t think you get enough credit, so if you see this, I just wanted to let ya know, *YOU’RE AWESOME!*
Mickey's Christmas Carol is my #1 favorite because it's so sweet and sentimental and its one of the few times we see Mickey cry. I found it amusing that Scrooge McDuck played Ebenezer Scrooge, he did a wonderful job. Mickey's Once Upon a Christmas was great too because it shows our favorite Disney pals during the holidays and the lessons they learn about what matters most, it was truly beautiful
Out of the ones you've mentioned, the Santa Clause is my first favorite, Mickey's Christmas Carol is my second, and the Mickey's Once Upon a Christmas is my third. I also see Nightmare Before Christmas as a Halloween movie. Outside of disney christmas, I have many more favorites. Thanks for making cheerful videos. Love your impressions, especially when you do it to the actual characters, and when you hang out with Maria on the Hayes Family Vlog. Keep up the good work!
The way you cried in the end when you were watching your favorite Christmas Special on the plane, you sounded like Bill from King of the Hill when he weeps like a girl. If one of the Christmas Specials have to be Disney, I personally say Beauty and the Beast: The Enchanted Christmas. But I agree with you on #1 :)
Muppets Christmas carol is my absolute favorite!!! I think that is the BEST version of the Christmas carol there will ever be. The actors are perfect the songs hit your heart as well as push the story along. The muppets add humor to the tale that needs it as well as adds love and fear to moments it needs! As a child I was so scared of the ghost of Christmas future. I felt the fear that Scrooge felt. No other Christmas carol ever did that to me.
Brian, I agree with your choices, but I'd place my childhood favorite from the anthology series (aka Disneyland, Walt Disney Presents, Disney's Wonderful World of Color, The Wonderful World of Disney, etc.), "From All of Us to All of You", in my top five. BTW, the theme song is one of my favorites as well and I would love to hear your rendition of it.
Yay! Somebody else who knows about Prep & Landing! I really like how they took the Santa lore and expanded it in a different direction. Plus the holiday themed expletives.
I absolutely love Small One! I actually had this short on VHS and a child and watched it every year! It still tugs at my heartstrings as an adult. Plus, the premise is about the true meaning of Christmas. 🎄 The original Santa Clause is my favorite Christmas movie 😁
I seriously need to watch Klaus, I've heard a lot of good things about and luckily I haven't been spoiled on anything(yet). I do agree about the Nightmare Before Christmas even if it is both Halloween/Christmas it has more of a Halloween vibe since it focuses on Jack who is the leader of Halloweentown and there's more Halloween stuff going on then Christmas. Hope you have a Merry Christmas Brian! Also, could you maybe check my channel out sometime, I do a lot of Disney stuff though there are some other shows/movies I edit with.
Lavender Rose hey so klaus dies at the end, and yeah the blonde guy(mailman)stays at the town, and the blonde guy (the mailman) goes out with the teacher.
I'm so glad to know I'm not the only one who cries during Mickey's Once Upon A Christmas!! It's not my FAVORITE of the Disney Christmas movies, but it's definitely a mainstay that I watch at least once during the holidays. When the boys read the card from Donald?? When Mickey is playing his harmonica on the curb by the pawn shop?! AHHHH!!!!!!
Thank you for including Small One! Such an underrated Disney short and I love it to pieces! I enjoy all the specials you mentioned, but I think my favorite from Disney is The Nightmare Before Christmas, which I do enjoy more as a Christmas movie than a Halloween movie.
Snowed in at the House of Mouse is a big win in my book. A compilation of a bunch of classic Disney Christmas shorts that comes to an end with Mickey's Christmas Carol.
It's great to see that you value "Mickey's Once Upon A Christmas" the same way I do. My parents got me the VHS back when it originally came out and as long as I can remember I have the tradition to watch it every year on December 24th, just before Christmas Eve. I'm 26 years old and I could never celebrate Christmas without watching this movie first, I bought a used DVD a couple of years ago because I did no longer have a VHS-player :D Hope you had a merry Christmas and all the best wishes for the new year! :)
Mickey's Once Upon a Christmas and Christmas Carol are great, but the Muppet Christmas Carol will ALWAYS be my all-time favorite Christmas movie. Ever.
Mickey's Christmas Carol! I watch that every year, sometimes even long before Christmas. It's so good, and definitely helps if you just need to watch something happy.
Completely agree with #2 and #1!!! Everything you said about Mickey's Once Upon a Christmas is spot on. I always cry in the Goofy and Mickey stories :')
Brian, just wanted to let u know that I used to watch you alot back then (I was actually "Hi Luis" in the "Im In A Movie ask brian video) and imma start watching one of my old favorite youtube channels again to support.
I do agree with you on the Nightmare Before Christmas movie, I see it as being more of a Halloween movie than a Christmas movie because it is more focused on Halloween characters. Also, my top 5 Disney Christmas Specials are as follows: 5.Muppet Christmas Carol 4.Olaf's Frozen Adventure 3.The Santa Clause 2.Mickey's Christmas Carol 1.Mickey's Once Upon a Christmas
I love Mickey's Once Upon a Christmas and Mickey's Twice Upon a Christmas but the first one is better because I agree with you about how beautiful it is to see what they do to make other people have a great holiday!

I honestly agree with you that Mickey Once Upon a Christmas is the best. My favorite moment when Mickey has to trade his harmonica to give Minnie a gold chain for her gold watch, but then she ended trading the gold watch to give Mickey a case of his harmonica. This taught me that they both did it because of love.
In Finland there’s one Disney Christmas Special, that airs every single year. In Finnish it’s called Samu Sirkan joulutervehdys (” Christmas Greetings from Jimeny Criket), but I think it’s originally called ”From All of Us to All of You”. I watch it every single year and I love it! It’s usually mostly the same, but there’s a section where they give a little sneak peek from an upcoming Disney movie.
No one ever mentioned Mickey's Once Upon a Christmas to me. So I was never given the opportunity to see it. I just watched it for the first time and I gotta say it had me in tears as well man. All I can say is I agree with everything you said about it. Mickey's Once Upon a Christmas is now a favorite of mine.
I saw the Small One when I was little. I loved it but I also cried. I loved the Muppets Christmas Carol and Mickey's Christmas Carol. I loved Mickey's Once Upon A Christmas
My favorite Christmas movie are The Nightmare Before Christmas, Ernest Saves Christmas, Charlie Brown's Christmas, Home Alone , Home Alone 2 lost in New York , a Christmas Story, Disney Mickey's Christmas Carol, and the Muppet Christmas Carol
I remember only watching the nephews part of Mickey's once upon a christmas - and loving it, but having no idea it was part of a movie. It's still my favorite of the stories, and it has that special, magical kinda feel to it :)
On my word I just watched Small One as it is so sweet. It's not technically 100% accurate at the end but right now I'm just appreciating how sweet it is and th that Disney did something Christian like this.
I have never seen a better version of A Christmas Carol than Mickey's Christmas Carol! 😍 It was also the first version I've ever seen, but that's not the only reason I love it.
They’re not Disney but original “How the Grinch stole Christmas” and National Lampoons Christmas Vacation. As far as a strictly Disney Christmas Special/Movie. I like the Donald Duck Short where he and Hewey Dewey and Louie have a snowball fight and Mickeys Christmas Carol
Mickey's Christmas 🎄 Carol is my favorite!!! I even had The Little Golden Book of it when I was about 6yrs. old and I loved 💗reading it!! Merry Christmas 🎄🎁☃️❄️Brian and Sandy. God Bless you.
My favorites are both Mickey's Once Upon a Christmas and Twice Upon a Christmas, both Prep and Landing specials, Phineas and Ferb Christmas Vacation, the first christmas episode of Elena of Avalor, and the recent addition to my must watch holiday lineup Noelle.
I have a soft spot in my heart for the Phineas and Ferb Christmas Special.
Do you mean Phineas and Ferb Christmas Vacation or A Phineas and Ferb Family Christmas? I like Christmas Vacation better myself.
i always loved the mickey and minnie part of once upon a christmas when i was a kid, i later found out that it was based on an actual story called gift of the magi. i don't know exactly what happens in that one but mickey and minnie's relationship is so sweet that it's my favorite.
I loved Mickey's christmas carol as a kid - it was my first introduction to the christmas carol story.
I should really go watch it again...
I agree, I absolutely love mickey's once upon a Christmas, I've watched that ever since i was a kid, and it just makes me tear up every time. Just beautiful
Pete in the Christmas carol scared the life out of me as a kid.
Mickey's Christmas Carol has always been one of my favorite classic tales. A Christmas Carol has always been my favorite story ever since.
Awww Brian wish I could hug you when you talked about your favorite Disney holiday movie. Wishing you and your loved ones a blessed and Merry Christmas. Love from Oregon! 🎄🎅🎁
P.S. my favorite holiday movie is The Bishop's Wife starring Carey Grant, Loretta Young and David Niven (White Christmas and It's a Wonderful Life are a close second and third).

Mickeys once upon a Christmas is right to my heart, I adore it so much from all of the 3 stories it tells.
Mickeys Once Upon a Christmas is definitely one of my top favorite disney christmas movies ever since I was a little girl I could not go through Christmas without watching it 💞 it's up there next to my #1 top favorite Beauty and the Beast The Enchanted Christmas
Breanna Wood Oh yes! Once & Twice Upon A Christmas 🎄 I loved as a kid! I have them on DVD now! 😍😍😍❤️🔥🙏👏😏 MERRY CHRISTMAS 🎄
I LOVE KLAUS!!!!!!!!!
I like the Muppets Christmas Carol. I respect your choice of Mickey's Christmas Carol but I love the Muppets. My speech! Here's my Christmas speech. Ahem. "Thank you all, and Merry Christmas."
Avery the Cuban-American that was the speech? It was dumb! It was obvious! It was pointless! It was...short.
I LOVED IT!!!
That was the speech? It was dumb...it was short...I LOVED IT!!!
"That was the speech?" "It was dumb!" "It was pointless!" "It was obvious!" "It was... short." "I LOVED it!!!"
Is it sad that I sometimes forget that Jacob Marly did not actually have a brother?
@@kirar2180 It IS weird, but since this was the Muppets version of the story, I guess it was necessary for Jacob Marley to have a brother.

I love the one with Pluto as well 😍😍🦌
