Hearing this song now above all else has helped me stay positive. I am incredibly homesick, my whole family is in Manitoba and I’m stranded till covid is over in Texas. Mentally and spiritually I’m exhausted. This has been helpful to keep my spirits up. Thank you for the incredible music.!

I want to talk with Alan Doyle, the band & his GBS brothers. There's a few things that I'm confused about & I have some nice compliments. I'm a big fan. I saw him in concert more times than my other favourite bands.... including The Tragically Hip. I really enjoy his concerts. First live event that I went to alone. The band (Alan included) never disappoint.

I wrote how much this song meant to me during the pandemic and unfortunately, during these current times, I’m still unable to work due to five ligament tears in both of my legs, including a ruptured ACL. I’m not in Texas anymore. I’m now in New Jersey, but the song, especially having literally no friends in the state or anywhere near the state Has had a profound effect on cheering me up. This is honestly probably the lowest of ever felt in my entire life and listening to the song really really helps me cope with all of the severe injuries that I am dealing with right now I’m looking at another two years of surgery and rehab, so it will be almost 4 years of my life that I’ve literally been in isolation. First because of Covid now because I literally can’t walk. I just wanted to thank the band again even two years later this song still resonates with me so much I can’t wait to get back to Canada, it’s my home country. I miss it so much but I’ve got two surgeries to get through. And rehab then next summer I may get to step back into my home country again for the first time since 2006. I can’t wait to see the band on February 26 in Philly. I am looking forward to it it will be the first time I’ve gone to an event or anywhere other than a doctors appointment in nearly 3 years. Can’t wait to see you guys. Keep up the good work.

He is one of my favorite artists. Since the days of GBS I've loved every album. He's a fantastic showman and artist. The muisic always makes me smile. I find myself singing along. Every song. Definitely helps any time i feel down about anything.

Many people miss you all too. I hope the third times a charm and I can’t wait to see you all in 2021. Originally I was gifted the ticket for Christmas 2019. I joked with my parents, they should take my ticket back and give it to me for Christmas 2020. It seems surreal and apocalyptic but we are doing awesome things

@@peterschilling6155 it’s a gift that keeps on giving...the world seems tighter because of quarantines and restrictions, apocalyptic because it seems quieter and less hustle around us. Looking inward and doing retrospection is hard. When I originally wrote the comment we were in heavy restrictions. It was the first round of making the unknown into known.
