Great that you have some old trip reports to show us. That was back in the day before you felt comfortable to appear on cam. Great meal for economy class...one of the best I have seen. I totally agree with you about walking past the wing and the engine to the stairs . It always gave me a great sense of anticipation . As always, Patrick, I love your work

And to think that only 3 years later both of these two airports no longer exist! What's the overall opinion in Berlin about the new airport now that it's FINALLY open!?
Crazy right? First of all i think the new airport is nicer, even though i liked Tegel with the very short ways and short time needed from my home to the airport. Now to the new airport i need like 1,5 hours, before it was 25 minutes... BER is bigger but with traffic of two airports it will get very busy (and traffic isn't fully recovered yet).
As far as i have seen now they send the Boeing 777-300ER which has way more seats than the A330. Guess the demand is just higher from IST to Hong Kong ;)
Yes this was 2019. Look mate. If i flew 100+ times in 2018 and 100+ times in 2019, then 2020 due to Covid only 20 times, and 2021 not even 10 times... in 2022 i have only booked 2 flights so far. I will upload all the older videos as well. This is also kinda vintage now. Both airports in this video are closed now 😆

Great trip report. This plane had an old seat design, especially in business class. But service was very good.

Yes try them out. So far had no problems with them and the meals on each flight are amazing every time!
