A benefit of the adobe suite is access to Adobe Audition. It's super easy to pull a clip to edit the audio in audition and seamlessly sync with the video. We like to pull a dead spot in our audio and capture a noise print of any low laying buzz or sniffling of the congregation. We then use the noise reduction filter and pull that out. Leaves us with super clean audio for an mp3 hosted on our website. If you had to do any noise correction/mic pop/eq fixes for your reels, the adobe suite would be a great tool.

In addition, if you just need a quick fix, Premiere Pro now has the ai enhance speech feature built in under the essential sounds workspace. So if someone doesn't have the full adobe suite, they can still do pretty good corrections with this tool in premiere.

Thanks Ryland! If you’re an experienced video editor doing it manually is very fast. If you’re new to this type of thing, I can understand absolutely why CapCut or sermon cuts would be a great solution. There’s no wrong way to do it. Try some stuff out and see what you like.

Thanks for explaining your process of going through the videos. Appreciate the video. I should make an adjustment to add music behind. I was using the paid version of Davinci Resolve to make the clips with CapCut finishing it up. The paid version of DR does do captions but not full featured as of yet. We just got a subscription to Opus Clip.

Random question that has nothing to do with this video, but do you have a video on what your weekly routine is as a Full-Time Worship/Tech Pastor? I’m here 40hrs a week but struggle to find things to make it a full week.

I don’t but as worship and media arts I could easily spend 60-70 hrs doing stuff a week.

Do you have a video on how you set up your camera. I don’t have consistent coloring on my black magic cameras and need to get consistent.

The CEO of Sermom Shots attends the church I work at.
Hit me up if you want to connect with him.

What are your thoughts on Davinci Resolve as a potential free solution for those working on a near zero budget?

Worth a shot! Pretty powerful for free from what I hear but the learning curve might be steep.

I use Resolve! To be fair, it's what I started on, so it's all I know. Looking at Premiere scares me 😂
