I've seen quite a few intrviews of Russian people, and I have to say there are Russians with this brave and open mind, speaking the truth about Russia and its wannabe Tzar. Unfortunately they are few, compared to the horde of useful idiots, and since the whole state is corrupted, good Russians have only few blindspots to use to say the truth. I really hope there will be a Russia, after Putin, that will become a normal democratic country. I have friends there, and unfortunately, they are zombified by the propaganda... However i know a lot of active opposition Russians who know as much (or more) truth than him, would give similar answers and without hesitation say that Crimea is Ukraine This is a minority, but they do completely agree to international law and official borders of Ukraine, some even would give up Belgorod or Kursk if Russia didn't pay reparations. Only thing, 99% of them doesn't live in Russia anymore, taunted as utter traitors. Personally i think we shouldn't call them "good Russians" right now (unless they help or fight for Ukraine directly), but decide that after the war is over. For now most of them (who actually do their bit in this hybrid-WW3 for our side besides talking and are not just covert imperial supremacist turncoats) are our allies. For the record, i'm in another EU country bordering Russia, by "us" meaning Europeans and all democracies.

I am almost the same age as this man and I am just amazed he has been able to survive so long in Russia. He is a wonderful human being, a ray of light in the darkness that has descended on Russia. It reminds me of my time in the Soviet Union when the regime tried to bury truth and reality with lies and propaganda, like pouring concrete on grass. But grass has a way of surviving and still finding its way through the cracks in the concrete slabs and emerging once again into the light. This man is one of those tiny blades of grass that will keep finding a way to the light. You cannot bury the truth forever. The future belongs to him and all the other true Russian patriots like him but who are still afraid to speak out.
