As a returning player after a year or so away I put this deck together as I figured I'd learn much more about the meta if I was having to steal and play it, expecting to lose a lot.
I lost 4 out of 10 at first, then won SEVENTEEN games in a row the day before yesterday and last night.
I genuinely wanted to lose one so I could go to bed.
    Cheers you Kibbster

I feel like your opponent might have forgotten about the Audio Amplifier letting you get 1 more mana there

He also had the coin, but it was the crescendo that was the surprise.

I think it's more likely "I'm out of cards and options, it's desperation time". He wasn't winning that game regardless if he made it 1 more turn or not.

Very satisfying to see Sludge Warlock get destroyed 😁

Hey Brian I was watching old videos and I think it would be so cool if you did a 1v1 video like you used to with Toast and other RUclipsrs. Maybe vs Regis Kilbin. Just some thoughts.

I’m struggling playing this deck, any tips?

    • @Spuzzell

Keep playing and it'll click, you basically just need to know their deck reasonably and then you can play it faster and better than they can.

      TL;DR: Git Gud

@@raznaakyeah, this isn’t helpful. And probably why new players get put off 👍🏻

@@jeanniegoldweddingplanner It not just a stupid joke, you actually need to play things out to understand what works, what doesn't, know the meta to know which card you can steal from your opponent, and the interactions of many cards.
So, literally, get good. Play the deck, lose some, win some, and learn for yourself.
Git gud is a legit strategy for this deck. And also get lucky sometimes, of course.
There is no magical insight that will make you win more, it's not aggro where the only play is aim cards at face...

“Getting” is a misleading word. Thief Priest has been toxic the whole time 😡😡

That's what I'm curious about. What is the warlock supposed to do? If they draw better, they suffer. If they draw worse, they lose to tempo and still have things stolen. This is the case most a ton of other decks. With limited options in the standard set to counter theft decks... I'm not sure what the counter to this is other than playing theft priest or killing them super fast within 5-6 turns.

@@dragonhero14I mean you basically just said it, it’s hyper aggressive aggro because the thief priest needs to spend mana before they can match your aggro

One thing Brian seems to consistently do better than his opponents is putting the right amount of resources into tempo.
