+33jedi Also for the blind wave and anyone else who was wondering. Vegeta didn't hide his power level. Gohan and the others could still sense him, the only reason freeza and Zarbon couldn't was because their scouters were destroyed.
They more than likely would get the boost still, it is achieved not by actually being near death which would be impossible but by the body perceiving it to be close to death, the body does not know it is immortal so if you could induce a near death like state it would be completely possible to receive the boost and it would actually make it much easier to achieve as you could simply put yourself into that state then allow yourself to heal just enough to be able to trigger it again and again until you are the strongest being alive, that type of stress on any normal body would very likely cause it to shut down leading to death but immortality would completely remove that obstacle.

Here is a question for anyone to answer freely. If saiyans gain a zenkai boost by surviving a near death experience, then would a saiyan ever get stronger if he was immortal?
+33jedi Also for the blind wave and anyone else who was wondering. Vegeta didn't hide his power level. Gohan and the others could still sense him, the only reason freeza and Zarbon couldn't was because their scouters were destroyed.
They more than likely would get the boost still, it is achieved not by actually being near death which would be impossible but by the body perceiving it to be close to death, the body does not know it is immortal so if you could induce a near death like state it would be completely possible to receive the boost and it would actually make it much easier to achieve as you could simply put yourself into that state then allow yourself to heal just enough to be able to trigger it again and again until you are the strongest being alive, that type of stress on any normal body would very likely cause it to shut down leading to death but immortality would completely remove that obstacle.
