@@jojounicorn4610 yeah I get why you don't like it, I don't really like the way he's characterized either, Shadow was nothing like he was in sa2 or even heroes. It's just the game itself, I don't think it's really that bad, i had fun playing it

@@jojounicorn4610 I don't really agree with that assessment honestly, Shadow was extremely vengeful and edgy in SA2 even if he didnt outwardly swear or use guns. He either manipulated or talked down to everyone he met, insulted those he saw as inferior, and showed almost no remorse for anything he did. He didnt even really have a character arc, Amy just happened to trigger his repressed memory of Maria. He's still the same character at the start and end of that game, it's just his goal that changes. And it proves that Shadow has the capability to be truly evil and heinous given some memory tampering, which is exactly what happens in Heroes and Shadow.
Shadow 05 actually filled in some gaps with his character and gave him real agency. I'd call it an upgrade.

Knuckles was a rival to Sonic in his first introduction, and he's every bit as stoic as Shadow is. It's just that Knuckles can occasionally brighten up a bit

Always found it hilarious how christianity was so ingrained in every american's brain from the 40's to the 90's that a word as simple and inoffensive as 'damn', which is used in other related words such as 'damnation' was considered a big no-no curse word.
