Original carburetor? The lack of rust suggests the galvanized treatment was the ticket. Back in the '70s, I guess that most cars had 1:1 gears for the top gear, and Interstate's were just getting started, with lower speed limits than we had now.
That a good all around truck, a ramp truck it's handed and I like the 460 and the 4 speed it being 70 model engine it should have around 360 horsepower
@@Super-ew1ty I agree but that radiator is original to the truck, not to the engine. So I was just saying the truck came with a massive radiator. This one has never ran hot but sitting in traffic the temp does climb just a hair
With the double groove at the top of the extension, I don't think it is a SanpOn. You need to do some detailing on the interior, the truck is crying for it.

That 460 needs a big radiator. Every 460 I've owned run right on the very edge of overheating.
