Very good, Forsyth really did write fantastic books. The 80s movie was OK, but this narration by Dance, was amazing. Thank you for uploading it to RUclips.
In my opinion The Fourth Protocol was the last great book Forsythe wrote. Not as good as his first three, 1971 - 74, but still pretty good. After this his work became repetitive and formulaic.
Great performance of a cracking story. A little let down by the abridging - some retained details referred to events that had been removed. But not enough to prevent the enjoyment of the story! Thanks
@@MediaArchive2-z9fWell then it must be abridged. I haven’t read the book, but I can’t believe that a Forsythe thriller can be told in 3 hours. It was good, and Dance is excellent.
Thank you!! What a treat.
Charles Dance is amazing.
It really is!
Wonderful and thank you Charles Dance for such clear narration. 😊😊
Glad you enjoyed it!
Thank you - the volume improved. A great performance by Sir Charles Dance. Thank you
Glad you enjoyed it
A knighthood for reading?@@MediaArchive2-z9f
You had me at Charles Dance

Lovely reader. Clear as a bell, straight forward reading. Nothing exaggerated .
Absolutely superb! What a wonderful narration. I don't see how it could possibly be done better. Thanks
Glad you enjoyed it!
Excellent. Thank you.
Glad you enjoyed it!

Great! Thank you for this upload and the black screen.
Superb narration and book. Thank you and congratulations
Ha! I scrolled down after commenting and saw that I had used the same superlative, so to speak, as you. Very fitting.
Thank you too!
Hard not to visualise the excellent Michael Caine film version, including always the number plate continuity irritations of the blue Transit van!
Fabulous narration
Sublime.
Very entertaining, one reader many characters, just like walking in London fog.
Good story, though 1/3 of the original. I enjoyed it thoroughly. Reminds me of a long radio play. Thanks.
Glad you enjoyed it!
Thankyou
You’re welcome 😊
Charles Dance does great accents😅
If I didn't know better I would think there was a cast, rather than one very talented narrator.
A great job by Tywin Lannister!

So relevant for today?😢

Is this the full book? 3 hours doesn’t seem like enough.
Yes

That last sentence has not aged well.
2022.
I have watched Charles Dance in Jewel in the crown (1984) and he is great, sounds much different than he does in The Crown.
