Very informative and Good video...Keep it up...
Nice 🌹
I always enjoy the short historical background video that make. It would have been more fascinating if you had shared more stuff on the Lepchas rule before Chogyal kingdom. Plus, you could have added a few lines on British tea estate and settlement of Bengali tea estate labour community by the British. As this all leads to incorporation of Sikkim in India. However, what you have shared here on incorporation of Sikkim into India contradicts a lot with most of the academic history books on Sikkim which we study in American Universities, such as the book - Smash and Grab: Annexation of Sikkim by Sunanda K. Datta-Ray. Overall, i enjoy the informative videos that you prepare.
Qqq
There were five states of present India refuse to accept amalgamation with India in 1947. Jammu & Kashmir, Bhopal, Hyderabad, Mysore, & Junagadh. So till 15th august 1947 those riyasats were not the part of independent India.

9:12 Tibet was not closed for business and not an isolated country. Many looked to Tibet for their riches. Great Poems and Books are written about Nepali (especially Newari) traders going to Lhasa in search of great fortune. From far flung, Russians of mongolian origin and Mongolian people travel to the great monastery of Tibet to study.
At that time, Tibet had extensive relations with all its neighboring countries: Nepal, Bhutan and Sikkim in the south, China in the east, the Mongol tribes in the north and the Sikh Empire through Ladak in the west.
Many battles were fought for control of trade routes to Tibet, and Nepal's western and eastern expansions were to control all passes to Tibet, so it could monopolize trade. The British had no other or sacred intentions. Britain went to war with Nepal as an ally of Sikkim, for control of Tibet's trade and later took control of Sikkim, which until then had acted as a Tibetan protectorate state. It was only after the British arrived in Lhasa in 1904 and defeated the poorly armed Tibetan army in the Tsang region that they reduced the Tibetan presence in Sikkim and Bhutan. Imposed trade regulations unfavorable to Tibet. And within a few years, the British violated the 1904 treaty by signing another treaty in 1907-1908 with the Chinese (Qing Court), to give China suzerainty over Tibet. In exchange for closing Tibet by prohibiting Tibet from having international relations with other countries without the consent of China and Britain. It was British policy that led to the isolation of Tibet in the international political sphere.
Sir Mewar rajya par bhi video banaye

Sir please make video on kashmir riyasat maharaja hari singh👍✌🙏
90%right sir but ek cheej galat hai sikkim k log bhutias lepchas apne bade bete ko monk banate hai unhe monestry bhejte hai padhne k liye ek prakar se daan krte bade bete ho ye parampara avi tk chali araha muje isliye malum because mai sikkim mei rahi hu aur waha k professor sikkim history mei ye bataya gaya hai proud to be Sikkimese jai hind🙏
Mostly Tibetians and Bhutias are monks but it is not compulsary for them. Anyone who want to be monk can join regardless of their caste, most lepchas are Christians.
Now a days actually it's not fact ... Yes some is true but not every thing is true..
If we look on every youtubers every one has own and different historical review. Google also hv no fact of sikkim..i suggest you all please visit sikkim, and do investigate .. Visit royal palace, ask for original history book of sikkim. Don't study from google
Sir.
It is not the actual history of Sikkim.
Nagaland history
Free Sikkim 😡😡
क्यों कुछ दिक्कत है😮
Kuch had tak sahi hai but Puri kahani kuch aur hai... Sarkar ke hisab se sahi hai but Sikkim ki history kuch aur hi hai
Now please don't try to bring back the clock, coz it aches deep inside n it's time to forgive n forget rather then to remember n hate. Is it right to dominate, encroached and inflict supermacy to a poor nation like Sikkim. Please don't ever try to prolonged the regional feeling by broadcasting such kind of video or else you'll be prosecuted under NSA.

It all depends on relation with Nepal. Good/amicable relation with Nepal will bless India from the breaking away but border issues, encroachment etc. can be repaid badly.
