After stalling and immediately restarting without going all the way to the off position, my light came on. Some say it’s the anti-theft start warning light. The next morning I started the engine & it’s not activated.
It could be as simple as replace the battery in your key to replace the security system. I opened the key, wipe clean the battery and re-insert and it worked fine.
not entirely so, mine does this and beeps, locks the doors on its own randomly when parked. faluly security module im betting. i took the battery out of my key fob thinking it was that
@@ejwnd just shows a miss on #3 is all that did. im told it could be a simple ground issue that is fairly common or a bad module. saw online a new module with 2 keys is like $600
Are 2009 Jeep Patriot is doing this also. I dont think there is a chip in our key as @Calliway Burnett said down below. As to the fuse woudl this be a fuse under the hood or by the driver?
That's bull. My Jeep Patriot did this to me yesterday, and it was because my fob key lost its programming, which shut my car off after a few seconds. I used my main fob that came with my car, and the Jeep stayed running after turning the engine over again.
Mannnn mine just did this tonight - that’s why I went to RUclips to look this up. But my Jeep was still running. I pulled over to a gas station just now. Oh thank God it’s not that major. But I did turn my Jeep off then restart and the light was off 🙏 7-5-24 3:51a
Anyone get this issue even with no key fob or auto locks or doors? I have a 2014 but hand locks and doors no alarm. no key fob old fashioned key you stick in the ignition
Mine did that rn. My car didn't stall ot ran fine. I turned it off for about an hour and just turned it went around the block and it didn't turn on again
I had a guy come to my house and personally make me an key plus resetting the system. My original keys and spare where bent and done for. At first it would say key not programmed then the red dot 🔴 And my car would start for an second. After away it would do nothing at all. Every thing would come on tho but the car run great now .
Thank you so much , me and my 2 friends we're stuck at a gas station at 12:00 at night and your video saved us.

It's the temperature gauge not the fuel gauge. Mine just started doing this today. Thanks!

Mine did that rn. My car didn't stall ot ran fine. I turned it off for about an hour and just turned it went around the block and it didn't turn on again
So idk if it's a fuse because I don't have a key fob
I figured it out . The answer is a new key with a new chip .
So did u take it to the dealership or buy an aftermarket?

@@ShyRage1 you know which fuse it is?
@@mails5054 it had nothing to do with a fuse. What fixed the problem was the jeep needed a new PCM.
@@mails5054 it's 4 and 7 and 8 under hood take out for 30 seconds or min then try
