Dude, im 44, I came up with this music. It is an absolute treat to see at least one of the younger generation discovering this, and not only that but actually liking it. Just sub'd.
I got to see them on this tour. What you don’t see in this video is, during the breakdown, the lights lowered closer to the stage and rocked up and down to mimick a rocking boat. It was fucking amazing!
I have listened to this band since I was in my mother's womb. My dad is a big fan. Together with my family we have listened to Rock and Heavy Metal throughout our lives. I'm only 18 years old, and I can say that I LOVE listening to them. Great reaction. I will love if you react to The Clansman in Rock in Rio, the bassist is amazing
Love your reaction dude! :). Maiden has millions of fans young and old and inbetween. Steve Harris on the bass though!!, he is a beast on that thing. Something to check out in your own time, the live version of this from song Live After Death album (1985 Long Beach arena). It's a much celebrated live event/album from the 80s.
Your reaction was amazing man, Iron Maiden have been my favorite metal band since 82 when I was 12, they are masters of their craft undoubtedly and without question and are amazing live, I finally got to see them live here where I live in gig harbor Washington at the Tacoma dome 30 minutes from my house and it was a dream come true in my life and I'll never forget this experience with 35,000 screaming fans, they were spot on and blew the roof off. Absolutely supreme musicians and supreme song writing and arrangements. Thank you so much.
Fantastic reaction as usual, mate👍🏻 Other Maiden performances you could check out are Paschendale, Dance of Death, Seventh Son of a Seventh Son live. Seriously though any Maiden live or studio, you can't miss. If you enjoy fireworks with your live shows, have you watched Nightwish perform The Greatest Show on Earth live in Tampere?🤔
I knew u will love this one! Try Iron Maiden - Live After Death - Revelations. Album Version is enough. The harmonizing Guitars brought me Goosbumps from Head to Toe at my first listening somwhere back in Time 1986 at the age of 13... and it still does. Imho, for Maiden First Timers: Grab Live After Death and Listen to the whole Album. Your World will Change. It happened to me. Now im old, still Metal Fan and Maiden is still first for me. Up the Irons! Iron Greetings from Germany
Great reaction, bud. "Passchendaele" live preferably. Always live with these guys. They are just that good. Saw them in 1988 on their Seventh Son tour. Best show I have ever seen. These guys are the definition of "gotta love what you do".
I remember when they announced the set list for this tour! I had my hopes for R.O.T.A.M butt didn’t dear hope for it! Then when I saw it on the set list i almost cried. 4 months later when I stood in the crowd and Bruce started talking about what not to do if your bird shits on you I started crying. This is the strongest Maiden moment in life for me. Seen them 11 times, and they have only played this once!
Enjoy coming back to this Maiden voyage from time to time to watch again. Was a wild ride, my man. Hope you are doing well and hope to see a return to Maiden some time soon. Bruce has a new solo album coming out next year as well as a solo tour. Crossing fingers Adrian tours with him!
Great to see you are loving the Irons dude, my first album was a birthday present from my folks in 1980 (9th birthday), changed my life from a music perspective...I live in a town in somerset UK and there are plaques all over the place with regard to the guy, Samuel Taylor Coleridge, who wrote the poem that this song is based on - he used to preach in a church about a 2 minutes walk from my house
Enjoyed the hell out of your react. Old school banger here who has seen Maiden many times since Piece of Mind. Love to see people dig the music I grew up on....Cheers and good health brother.✊🏾🤘🏾
Yes it's best to listen to the studio versions first like someone commented before, go back to 1984 live after death recorded in long Beach arena California over a sold out 4 night show, they were much younger and they play rime of the ancient mariner, powrslave, flight of Icarus, the trooper and so much more and this recording and concert footage was amazing and crystal clear.
Glad you liked the live version of Rime of the Ancient Mariner. Just follow my extensive Iron Maiden recommendation list and you can't go wrong Hurm1t. Like I said, if you like a kick ass drumming song check out Where Eagles Dare next, studio version.
@@hurm1t974 in this video you will see there 3 meter high mascot Eddie jumping around the stage . ruclips.net/video/xqUa5SbLU_c/видео.html i can also recommend the song iron Maiden live from the same tour with an even bigger Eddie ruclips.net/video/r9dWsSYStRM/видео.html

I'm 52, my oldest brother played the Number of the Beast album, loud as was his way, and I was immediately hooked
Maiden definitely span the generations, I'm 53 and I took my son to see them back in 2010, he was a big fan from his early teens!

Worst thing to do: to stop during the beginning of the solos. Done ☑️
