Hobot 2S by Robot My Life does not work

- We purchased the Hobot 2S 4 months ago and it did not work - the unit runs but it does not clean the windows. We sent Robot My Life videos showing that it didn't clean the windows and tehir response was that the hobot 2S is not meant to clean dirty windows. You have to manually clean the windows then the Hobot 2S will keep them clean. Not only does this not make sense (why buy a window CLEANER to wipe clean windows?) but it is not what is stated in their advertising. We sent the Hobot 2S back for them to check and have had zero response. For $550 we expected to receive a window cleaner that worked and for Robot My Life to honour their warranty and provide a refund.
Bought one m2 PRO. Wish i saw ur video earlier i just had the same experience of it that u had.

If they try to debate with you about a refund, apply for a “claw back” (I think that is what it’s called) via your credit card. You submit a dispute on the transaction and the card company claws back the funds.
I have one and it’s fabulous and I live on a busy road where they are building a train station next to my apartment so there’s constant construction and I have to run it a several times when the windows are filthy but it definitely does the job. And the windows get really dusty. I love it!

I believe what they meant to say is that it’s meant to maintain the window after you clean it. Such as removing dust and fine dirt. 🤷♂️ I don’t know haha I’m a professional window cleaner and clicked on this robot window cleaner thing that came up. My advice would be to get yourself a T bar scrubber and squeegee:)

Did you try doing 2 passes on it before you came to that conclusion?
@@stopfeelingbadforyourself we’ve tried multiple times, used different water (distilled), bought their detergent. It simply does not work.
Oh dear....did you just say in your video that the dirt was on the outside?
I bought the Hobot 2s based on the reviews and available RUclips videos. I'm also disappointed that after I placed the order and made my payment that I received a video attachment to show me how to use the new equipment in my order acknowledgment. The video attachment did actually confess to not being a window cleaner but a window maintenance tool! Why bother? I bought it because I don't want to clean windows!!!!!
Exactly! I ended up getting my money back by requesting a claw-back from my credit card company. I supplied copies of my email interactions with the company etc and they gave me a refund straight away.
Agree. I have one and its rubbish.
I'm sorry to hear that. We managed to claw back the funds via our credit company. Might be worth a try - good luck!
